Housing is one of the main pillars contributing to the formation of the family and the safety of its growth, and besides providing daily shelter for the family, it positively affects its psychological well-being and socio-economic stability, access to adequate housing that meets the needs of the family often consumes a large part From its income, therefore, saving and reducing its cost to facilitate the process of obtaining it and owning it is an important development goal in all countries of the world, and providing adequate housing for health, social and economic, and enabling the family to own it at a rate of expenditure commensurate with its financial capacity has always been one of its most prominent objectives. In modern times, as a result of the industrial revolution, environmental pollution and population accumulation, small-scale, few-blank dwellings are not suitable for activities within them. Especially since the human being used to carry out his activities inside his home and permanently dispense with the natural environment, which increased this effect on his activities, which began to dwindle to suit the basic needs and dispense with some activities that are considered very important for his health, and some consider it secondary activities can Dispensing with them, which has had a negative impact on human health. The green architecture, which is a design entrance after philosophy aimed at using energy conservation techniques and reducing the volume of material consumption, as well as the use of recycling techniques and reducing the volume of waste from the facilities and recycling and using clean and renewable energy sources to ensure human beings A healthy and safe life within his environment in general and within his home in particular.Hence, the term 'Green Building' symbolizes a building that has been designed and implemented to achieve sustainability — from the exterior systems of the building and its exterior to the parameters and structure of the interior architecture and the interior furnishing of the vacuum – based on some international standards prepared by Before the competent institutions that measure the compatibility of the building with the environment and the possibility of classifying it among the green buildings.

The global need for environmental sustainability has become a duty for designer and architect More than being a "design or desire" option. With the change of civilizations, cultures and a crisis in energy sources and building materials, the need for new types of building that achieve the principle of sustainability and harmony with the environment has increased. Consequently, many laboratories interested on searching for new building materials have high possibilities that take into account the environmental, economic and aesthetic dimension, as well as employing new construction techniques to make the most of it with less consumption in quantities. The organic direction in design is considered one of the architectural schools based on trying to draw inspiration from the construction mechanics present in the elements of nature, so that the design (architectural facades, horizontal planes, and sections) is completely harmonious with the lines of the elements of the natural environment that complements its harmony and balance to achieve the concept of sustainable development, which is intended to achieve compatibility The design, color, and aesthetic homogeneity with the environment to reduce visual pollution, as well as not depleting natural resources to reduce the negative impact on the components of the environment by saving energy consumption and resource efficiency, taking into account the emergence of modern technology in design, and methods of employing raw materials.Based on massive development in building technology, and the accompanying emergence of new building materials, and thus the development of architectural formations, the importance of the decorated designer recognizing how to optimally use building materials according to their capabilities in achieving the organic formation of designing architectural facades in the light of environmental sustainability contexts as well as making use of meanings Suggestive, color effects, and different textures of these materials.

Environmental control is currently one of the most important research topics because it has a great effect on the internal space and its residents especially and on the environment, architecture and urban design in general. Therefore, the recognition of environmental control systems and their effective treatment leads to reaching the highest levels of thermal, visual and audio comfort, and thus psychological comfort, which in turn leads to an increase in the productivity of the individual and subsequently society. Therefore, the interior design process for any space, whether it is (residential - commercial - administartive ..... etc), environmental control must have a major role in it in order to meet the needs of the comfort required for users. These systems are divided into air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and architectural acoustics, whether natural or industrial methods, and designers have recently tended to benefit from advantage of natural resources in a large way because of the lack of energy sources, high level of environmental pollution and many environmental problems, which is called environmental or green design. The research includes: air conditioning, its steps and its applications in interior space, internal ventilation, whether mechanical or natural, and its importance in getting rid of indoor air pollution and also the architectural elements involved in the ventilation of the building in a natural way, also deals with acoustics in the interior design and its definition and the acoustics problems facing the designer and the aim of studying acoustics inside the building and soundproofing materials and the lighting in interior design and its types according to the need inside space, natural lighting, its sources, its relationship to visual comfort, industrial lighting, its sources, colors and its relationship to sunlight. The main objective of the research is to have a great knowledge of the environmental control systems and their impact on the internal space and its users in order to reach to the best use of these systems in order to user comfort in all aspects.

Muslim communities have always been connected, to the Mosque- masjid as called in Arabic-The masjid wasn’t limited to being a place of worship, or performing rituals, or a just a social and political aspect of the Muslim community, but instead acted as a sign of belonging and identity. Along the history of Islam, the Mosque has been the most essential building within any Muslim community / state that started or settled within any part of the world. The Mosque continued to be a center of many Muslims' activities in addition to being the house of God and the most sacred place of/for Allah worship that incorporated many functions in addition to worship, as well as exceptionally hosting social events :funerals, condolences or marriages and some other political events like revolutions, & wars. This study analyses the role that Mosque plays - contemporarily - as a public space at the city level, and how it had a significant role in the lives of Muslims nowadays, not only as a religious building for performing worship but also as a building that serves many other functions related to the peoples live. Theoretical concepts and examination of some selected case studies regionally and locally have been analyzed and discussed, dealing with mosques as public spaces that play a fundamental role in the lives of Muslims , The study concludes and recommends some issues that should be considered by different means while dealing with new mosques design, or by developing some cases of current mosques.

Many architecture schools do not apply experimental learning in teaching theoretical courses like the history of architecture courses. There is a gap between what the students learn in theoretical courses like architectural styles in history courses and design practices. History classes are taught with a teacher-oriented approach, where students miss active and experimental learning. As a result, in the Egyptian urban setting, we find buildings designed using architectural styles, mostly Classical designs, without respecting the technical, aesthetic, and human factors. Furthermore, nowadays, the Egyptian government is very active in constructing the new Administrative Capital of Egypt. The new city is located 45 kilometers East of Cairo, and it is planned to be Egypt's new business and financial center. The new Downtown of the new capital city, or "The new Garden City," is planned to reassemble Khedival Cairo's peculiar value buildings with the renaissance, neo-classic, eclectic, and neo-baroque styles. As architectural education cannot be separated from current architectural practices, this paper introduces the research project results in the course "History of Architecture-level two." The course was taught in the first semester of the academic year (2018-19) in Fine arts, Cairo, Helwan University, Egypt. The students were asked to select a heritage building with a peculiar value from Khedival Cairo, analyze it with the seven principles of design, and propose a design for a building's facades in the new Capital city Downtown. This paper aims to introduce the results of the students' work, analyzing their designs, and the effect of experimental learning in developing their intellectual skills. The paper includes the results of a designed questioner answered by the students to evaluate the research project and the link between the history of architecture, heritage, and architecture design. The paper shows the importance of applying experimental learning and linking theoretical and practical courses for achieving better architecture practice.

An Innovative Methodology for Achieving Compatibility between Heritage and Contemporary in Architecture (Case Study: Omani Architecture)Abstract: This paper presents an innovative methodology for achieving correlation between heritage and contemporaneity in architecture within analytical study of Omani buildings examples to explain the role of heritage in fulfilling the society needs of architectural design. It examines 3 main aspects: first aspect: Heritage - The study explains the different types of heritage as well as the importance of heritage for society, with an explanation of the various factors that effect on the formation of architectural and urban heritage, such as cultural, social, economic, legislative, educational, and technological factors.2nd aspect: Elements of Heritage – Here, the study classified the different needs of society from architecture and planning to four main needs: social, climatic, visual, and planning needs. These different needs require a set of architectural and planning solutions and treatments at the level of the general formation of the building, as well as at the planning level, these Solutions and treatments have produced heritage elements that are used down to generations3rd different trends of correlation between heritage and contemporaneity in architecture. Four key dimensions of society needs are identified and applied to the cases: planning; climatic; social; and visual requirements. The analytical study reveals that climatic and social requirements play most important role in contribution to molding the role of heritage in architectural design. Understanding such role and properties of heritage is essential for achieving urbanize and architectural correlation between what is inherited (architectural heritage) and what is imported (contemporary architecture) so that, the architectural and urbanize product reflects the uniqueness and derives its elements from Omani architectural heritage, while not lagging behind the civilized ride represented in contemporary

This study discusses the importance of using multisensory architecture tools to reach the best performance in designing learning spaces for different levels of visually impaired children. It discusses the effect of designing by our five senses in achieving the purpose of our design. As it’s known that Architecture is one of the main basics of environmental components. This study mainly aims to shed light on the idea that the Architecture can’t be considered as a visual tool but it is a multisensory tool that could be used to feel and understand the environment. So, it was important to discuss the architecture tools that could be felt by our all senses. Besides discussing the idea, that in the case of losing the visual sense, the building should have the same ability to be understood by other senses. By missing these tools, the pupils with visual impairment disability cannot be able to use their right to live normally. The study analysis a successful case study of designing a classroom for the blind in Pattaya city in Thailand. This project has won a prize in the 2019 Inside World Festival of Interiors in Amsterdam. The analysis of this project appeared the architecture tools that used to make this classroom a multisensory space that could be felt by students 'different senses. Besides highlighting the basic senses that should be used to design a space for visually impaired users. The study concludes that by applying the Multisensory Design tools, visually impaired users could feel space by Touching, Hearing, smelling or even feel space by their thermoreceptors. A building that created with the multisensory can achieve great success as an architecture product or a human product.

This study was carried out to show the role of small industries, especially small ceramic industries that depend on local raw materials, in achieving the goals of economic and social development in Libya, in addition to being one of the industries with functional use, such as home ceramics and traditional craft industries (pieces that express the culture and identity of the place). A direct contribution to spatial development, as it accommodates large numbers of workers, with different age groups of both genders. It is not limited to young people only, but includes the skilled elderly category with distinguished experience. This is why it is considered one of the most important elements of family social solidarity, and this in turn limits migration to large cities Or external migration, also one of the obvious influences that contributes to transforming the place as a tourist destination (examples are the village of Garagos in the city of Qena, the village of Tunis in the city of Fayoum, and Fustat in the city of Cairo), which in turn enhances the foundations of sustainable development in the various Libyan villages and cities, which depend On the elements of the spatial environment and the local expertise of the craftsmen, who contribute to the transmission of their experiences from current generations to future generations. The locations of the raw materials in southern Libya were determined after referring to the reports of the Industrial Research Center in Libya, and after the ores were transported, milled and prepared, they were tested by different forming methods represented in (forming by casting method, forming using the cuff (the pressing arm), forming by manual plastic pressing, free forming by the wheel. The results were promising, and they are suitable for different ceramic forming methods used in small ceramic industries, and the results of the plasticity labs also showed that the clays have very superior plasticity, and the success of the clays used in molding by slip casting.

Symbolic indications come from society’s culture and values. Care must be taken when choosing symbolic indications appropriate to the idea of advertising, reconsidering more than once. The designer must study the target group and its relationships with symbolic indications, because if the symbolic indications were chosen in a wrong way, it’ll lead to the campaign’s failure and affecting the recipient negatively. For example, black is considered the color of mourning in the West and white is the color of happiness. It is the opposite in India. So, therefore, it becomes necessary to understand the words, colors, and signs used in the advertising campaign, and it’s crucial to know with whom we are talking. An ad was made for a bike years ago and wanted to express the comfort the bike gives its riders. The ad showed a man on a bike and a young boy who was polishing his shoe. The advertisement received a lot of criticism from NGOs on the issue of child labor and the way the ad presented it. Therefore, we must consider all elements of the semantic meaning (pictorial or verbal) before implementing an advertising plan. Advertising as a persuasive communication aims to achieve distinction by transmitting information, ideas, and perspectives from a person or a group to other people or groups using standard symbols. That’s why the advertising campaign involves a group of words, pictures and graphics to encode the advertising message in a convincing way, and this is done by using pictures and symbols with a unified indication between the sender and the receiver, so that the persuasive advertising message is raised to meet the human needs of the recipients in accordance with the prevailing social values. This research aims to study the essential elements of semantics because they can work for or against advertising. All features must be aesthetic combined with the category of recipients and general culture and not disturb viewers and cause misperception.

3d printing is a process that leads to the manufacture of 3d models directly using layer-by-layer raw materials in various directions depending on the printing technology used through the design file of the 3D model without the use of additional equipment and at a lower cost than the traditional manufacturing method. FDM is one of the best, most popular and affordable 3D printing technology on the market. It is a great choice for fast, low-cost prototypes that can be used for a variety of applications and can also be a suitable solution for functional models.Printed models can be designed so that don't need to be combined together using complicated engineering and then lower cost that improves the mechanical properties of printed models such as strength and hardness, which leads to improved performance of the functional model with the possibility of reducing the use of raw materials.Defining the basic standards elements in the design such as (supports, bridging, infill and wall thickness) is an important tool for the successful design of the 3D printed model, and these elements lie in durability, ergonomics, dynamic stability and longevity, even storage conditions. All these elements affect the quality of the 3D printed model. Then this study aims to analyze and achieve the strengths and weaknesses and the extent of the impact of applying international standards for infill design when preparing the design file on the quality of the printed product. To achieve quality in the printed model, the results attained from finite elements analysis (FEA) to influence the design of the internal structure by locally varying the composition of the infill based upon the associated stress values by using Autodesk Fusion 360 program to simulating the model on the program and then printing the model before and after the improvement and testing it under pressure conditions of up to 85 kg.

Abstract KeywordsDesign considerations - Electrochemical treatment – Plating racks. Electrochemical treatment is one of the most important processes used in completing and finishing the surface of the product to improve the aesthetic and phenotypic properties of it. This process gives a distinct impression to the consumer because of its high gloss, as it is sometimes used to prepare the surface of the product for electroplating. Plating racks are also the starting point of any electrochemical processes, where the parts to be processed are suspended in suitable metallic units covered with a layer of plastisol to undergo degreasing, cleaning, painting, rinsing, drying and polishing cycles. It is preferable to use plating racks with large, complex or fragile parts, or Which requires high-quality surface finishing. The best and most effective results can be achieved for electrochemical processes when plating racks are specifically created for each design of each part. Therefore, the design considerations of plating racks must be taken into account to ensure the success of the parts which require electrochemical processes, the good design of products plating racks in a way that suits the product shape improves treatment quality and reduces time and cost.Statement of ProblemThe research problem lies in the difficulty of suspending some geometrical shapes, especially spherical and cylindrical cylinders in electrochemical treatment solutions, because there are no specific design considerations for the plating racks used in the treatment process.PurposeIt is an analytical study to know plating racks, their dimensions and the method of building them. Furthermore, it aims at knowing the process of arranging and suspending products on them in order to put design considerations for plating racks, and knowing the factors that affect the design and construction of plating racks and applications that require special plating racks.Research HypothesesThe development of design considerations for plating racks leads to: Facilitating the process of operating products in electrochemical solutions Obtaining excellent results for electrochemical processes through the optimal use of plating racks.

Childhood stage is one of the most important stages of a human life. Many studies and researches were made for this specific stage. The early childhood represents the most crucial stage of growing up a child would go through as it counts as the final stage of shaping the child's personality. This stage includes a lot of changes. These changes represent the base for the designing and implementing his clothes which satisfy their physiological and psychological needs and are in line with the necessity of his rapid growth. Children’s' clothes are one of the many things that represent a financial burden for the family due to the fact that once the child grows, the clothes won't fit his size any longer. Especially, if the clothes are free from the features of growth. By using innovative design solutions, the clothes are suitable to fit the current body size and the features of growth. The child's clothes must be suitable for many sizes of this stage and meet the child's needs. The child's clothes must characterized by the aesthetic appearance through consideration of the aesthetic and decorative aspects. This research aims to create design solutions to increase the usable time of children's clothing in early childhood by using appropriate production requirements which adjust the clothes size in the longitudinal and girth directions. Automated embroidery technology will be used to enrich the aesthetic aspect of innovative design solutions. The results of the research included creating ten designs for children in early childhood which carries the features of growth, so that its size can be adjusted in the longitudinal and girth directions using innovative design solutions with decorative design that suitable to this stage. Four designs were implemented for age group (3-4-5 years) using 100% cotton fabrics, mixed by 67 cotton / 33 polyester. Automated embroidery technology was used in implementing the decorative designs. To verify the research aim, an estimation scale was designed to measure the degrees of adjusting the measurements of the implemented designs to fit more than one size in early childhood (3-6 years) by specialists in the field of clothing and textiles were. The statistical analysis of the estimation scale indicates that the average degrees of adjusting measurement for the four implemented designs ranged from (22.433-50.704), and that the value of (T) ranged from (0.522-1.035), which are non-statistically significant values that perform the research aim.

For a camera, the lens is the eye. It collects the light rays reflected to it from the scene being photographed, to create an image of this scene on the film or camera sensor. Thus, there is no way to obtain a good image, whether still or motion, without using a highly efficient lens. If the light rays reflected from the photographed scene pass through a lens with poor optical performance, the camera, whatever its efficiency and its sensor, will not be able to produce a good image. Which increases the importance of assessing and testing the lens's efficiency and its ability to convey the details of the captured scenes in objective ways. The research problem lies in the fact that failure to evaluate the lens, may cause many problems that negatively affect either the use of the lens during shooting, or the quality of the images that we get with this lens, such as: The problem of the difficulty of using the lens due to poor design, And the problem of the lens’s lack of ability to translate the contrast of the photographed scenes, and its poor resolution. As well as the heterogeneity of the optical performance of the lens from its center to its edges. Therefore, the research aims to examine the criteria for evaluating the lenses used in photography and cinematography, whether those related to the efficiency of the design and movement of its various mechanisms, or those that relate to the efficiency of the optical performance of the lens such as: lens speed, resolution, contrast, sharpness, and maximum depth of field, as well as the absence of lens defects that negatively affect the images formed by it.

Abstract. Entrepreneurship represents the interest of many of the country's developmental institutions as a way to build and develop the national economy, and as a future supporter of implementing the country's strategic goals towards establishing environmental and social responsibility among businessmen, and towards deepening the culture of self-employment through focusing on developing the knowledge economy and entrepreneurship. This enhances the creative and innovative minds of young people to become productive, not job seekers. The research reviews the study of the role of infographics designs and explains its importance in increasing interactive marketing of the entrepreneurial sector products in Egypt in general, and the ideas of entrepreneurs in particular in light of digital technology and the communications and information revolution. The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology supports the entrepreneurial sector in Egypt in particular through the offices of technology transfer and marketing (TICOS), and incubators of multiple technological works. Moreover, supports some of the various applied researches in the Faculty of Applied Arts to raise awareness of the role of the designer towards developing the right scientific method in Marketing designs, ideas and products, to advance the development of local industries and break the stagnation of Egyptian society. The technological applications used to adapt advertising infographics through information technology applications help increase creativity and innovation in the field of digital marketing for potential entrepreneurs in the Egyptian market, in order to support their marketing capabilities and increase the demand for their innovative ideas and their new products. Infographics establishes an increase in the motivation and interactivity common among different groups (users, customers, and businessmen) towards developing skills and leveraging capabilities supporting entrepreneurs to increase the creative, and explosive marketing power within them. The research seeks to provide visualization and steady steps to prepare infographics designs for entrepreneurs to apply to enable them to improve or build a digital marketing process for their products and ideas, in order to support increased investment opportunities and to increase national income. The research supports a series of applied research presented by the researcher to uncover the scope of entrepreneurship for industrial designers and to assist real and future entrepreneurs, in order to help increase societal and industrial mobility towards the adoption and application of Entrepreneurship concepts.

Color is one of the most dominant tools for designing compelling environments. It holds aesthetic value and has significance when assessing design elements. Color is the design element that charms us, emotionally and mentally, and is considered the most influential instrument in the hands of the designer as it is permanently stored in our memory. Colors are fundamental features of our visual sensitivity and environmental experience. In addition, it has the power to attract people to space and is used to encode the place by linking color to certain brands in complex globalized networks. To reflect, an increase in branding has been one of the most effective marketing phenomena nowadays, and has been included in most commercial business’ strategies. Branding places today has been modified deeply from the perspective of identity and image viewpoint. The overall design of a building and its spaces should reflect a clear purpose; moreover, it is beneficial to establish controlled and reliable rules and hidden agreements between the brand and client through color. This paper questions; How brand design creates a lasting appearance that bridges today with where the brand will grow over time? What is the color brand strategy to create place identity and space communication? How branding feeds into globalization, which has become significantly relevant, increased market entry, and efficiency of international travel? Since the relationship of color to space is one of the main objectives of active design to create a suitable agenda for specific functions, a thorough theoretical examination of the mental and physical impacts of color has been conducted, and an analytic study of the branding of companies specialized in providing mobile phone services in Egypt has been incorporated. The objective of this is to facilitate the bridging of emotional connections between clients, cities, and regions to accelerate brand growth and integrate color as a branding principle in Interior Design.

Le Corbusier said in the early of this century, that “A House is a Machine for Living in.“In the same way, an office is a machine for working in and a commercial space is a machine for achieving beneficial results in.To enhance environmental sustainability, a building (especially commercial Interior) must holistically balance and integrate all three principles — Sustainable Design, Economy of Resources and Life Cycle Design — in design, construction, operation and maintenance, and recycling and reuse of architectural resources. These principles comprise a conceptual framework for sustainable architectural design. There is absolute that Healthy Building makes and lead to Healthy people so that the research reaches of sustainable interior design strategies can achieve a number of positive results throughout a company’s operations and culture by enhancing employee health and well-being, by improving learning environments, by increasing occupant comfort using sustainable interior design solutions, elements and furnishing, which enhance the public relations, the marketing opportunities, customer satisfaction and finally the aesthetic harmony between the building and its natural surroundings. Design education is the most important and crucial stage in a designer's preparation. The design studio is also the starting point in the process of teaching design students how to deal with the issue of identity. The paper discusses the major academic objectives and methodologies that were employed to explore the potential of cultural and architectural heritage as a valid platform for design education. The paper explores cultural schema through cognitive aspects by applying an empirical study and identifying the opportunities and constraints. The wider goal is to expand the boundaries of interior design, highlighting the role of interior design education in preserving our diversified traditional culture and the continuity of the local identity through achieving an innovational design. Under the monitoring to the final year interior design students, the empirical study was part of the design studio course. The effects of integrate elements extracted or derived from local identity into modern designs in their graduation project process through cultural schema theory are examined. As a result, a conceptual framework for discussing educating towards local identity is created, model that highlights the gaining of clear knowledge of design. The framework describes how students interpret the cultural meaning through interior design by adapting cultural schema theory. This was achieved by the following methodology; literature review in three main topics (cognitive, cultural schema that is forced to change or accommodate new information and design education) was applied. Moreover, this paper follows an empirical study methodology with an in-depth analysis of the data.

Muslims in general, Moroccans and Andalusians in particular, took care of the Mus'haf. In terms of the material on which it was written, the people of the Islamic West began writing the Mus'haf on parchment, which was used in the Mus'haf until recently. Then they started writing on paper since (AH 5th / AD 11th) century. As for the type of calligraphy, the Kufic script was used to write the Mus'haf until the (AH 5th / AD 11th) century, Until it was replaced by the Moroccan script. As for the ink colors, it was used black in writing, red in tashkil (signs), and yellow in the titles of the Surahs. In terms of binding, it began simple by using wooden panels that were covered in leather or fabric, and then studded with gemstones, gold and silver flakes, Then the wood panels were replaced with paper covers that were covered in leather and decorated with ornaments and gilding. The Mus'haf under study is a model of the Moroccan Mus'haf, in which the features of the manuscripts and Mus'hafs in the Islamic West are clear, Through the study of this Mus'haf, the Moroccan manuscript industry will be shed light on since its inception, following the stages of its development and monitoring its most important features. The Mus'haf under study is kept at the Abi Mohamed El Marjani Mosque in Tunis. This mosque was established during the reign of Sultan Abi Hafs Omar (683--694 AH / 1284-1294 AD) by Sheikh Abi Muhammad al-Marjani. Today, the Mus'haf is in an acceptable state of memorization - except that some of its papers were partially damaged - as it keeps all of its original pages and books, and it belongs to the pattern of the Mus'haf. The pages of the Mus'haf were written in extended Moroccan calligraphy, as well as the conclusion page, which contains the name of the calligrapher and the commander of writing the Mus'haf, and the history of the void of his writing in the Maghribic script (Fassi script). The pages of the Mus'haf were written in black ink, except for the titles of the fence and their data, and they were written in golden ink. The conclusion page also wrote a dark red supply.

Abstract: The study deals with religious buildings in the Ain Ghazal site in south of Levant, The buildings Which were founded to practice rituals during the late Pre- Pottery Neolithic B (LPPNB). these buildings had special features concerning their location, planand ,architectural elements and also tools. number of non-residential buildings have been distinguished in the site Ain Ghazal , which is divided into three parts, namely the central, northern and eastern Fields. The research deals in detai study of the religious buildings only in the eastern area, in which two buildings were found for the LPPNB period. They were characterized by unique architectural elements such as the erected stone pillars, the Altar, Hearths, and the designation of an area as "the Holy of Holies", which It is considered the oldest appearance of this element in ancient architecture. However, only a few ritual devices were found in the buildings that may have been stolen or moved to prevent damage in the event of the collapse of the building, Due to the absence of tools in the buildings of the LPPNB period, it was difficult to know the rites practiced inside. At anyrate, these buildings refer to the spread out of the intellectual development of a society at this stage, both in terms of architectural and the extent of the development of religious thoughts and concern to practice worship, as well as choosing a specific site perhaps to give the sacred attitude to the religious place the seat of worship and governance.

Roman mines faced numerous problems that caused work to be discontinued and sites abandoned. One such problem is groundwater resulting from digging near rivers or sees or leakages from the top of the mine. The Romans initially tackled this problem using the primitive means – current since the earliest times – of digging canals to redirect the flow of groundwater and then raising it using buckets and ropes. Later they introduced mechanical machines like Archimedes’ screw, which they soon replaced with the more modern waterwheel. An Alexandrian invention dating from the Ptolemaic era, the waterwheel had spread across the Mediterranean where it was used for agricultural work until the Roman era when its design was developed for use in a variety of fields including mining. Hundreds of waterwheels were used to lift water out of Roman mines. This paper raises a number of questions regarding how the waterwheel was used in mines, how giant machinery was transported into the mine, what was the mechanism for operating them once they were inside, were they similar to agricultural waterwheels (which relied on either water pressure or human and/or animal power), and when and why the Romans started using them.In the absence of primary sources dealing with the topic, research relies on various theories proposed following excavations in which mines were discovered at various points in history. The writer outlines the history of these discoveries and undertakes a comparative study of the theories proposed in order to reach the most plausible explanation. The paper follows the following scheme:1-Introducing and describing the waterwheel as defined by the Roman engineer Vitruvius;2-Surveying the discoveries and presenting the theories that were proposed at the time they were made over the centuries; and3-Surveying modern discoveries and comparing them to older ones.

Summary: Most of us remember or saw a skilled relative knitting something for someone in the family, and she was patiently weaving row after row with the certainty of wonderful results. This childhood memory inspired many to reinterpret this form of repetition in our modern environment, specifically in the field of interior design. The colors, textures, and contours of all these elements contribute more to creating a warm residential environment that links childhood memories with modern society. Mixing modern interior design ideas with homemade crafts, or inspired by knitting fabric, creates stunning trends in furniture and accessories design, allowing living spaces to be transformed into truly unique rooms with knitting-inspired details. This research includes ideas and designs translated by the researcher through an exhibition linking furniture and knitting to bring warmth and comfort to modern interior design. Also, this research clarified that the expression of beauty lies in the researchers ’desire to discover the concept of beauty in ways different from what has been used to it, whether in the field of interior design or fabric design. Unique creative art adds charm to the place. An experimental approach was used with a descriptive approach to reach the goal of linking hand weaving and furniture design. The importance of research shows in highlighting the aesthetic value of woven furniture and the researcher's role in renewing the appearance of furniture and accessories using the art of knitting. The knitted industry in the world has developed remarkably and there has been great progress in the technology of manufacturing woven fabrics, which has been popular in recent years due to the properties and advantages that made it superior to that of other textile fabrics.
