Beauty mystified through the history of human thinkers, philosophers, writers, artists, and psychologists. There are many interpretations of beauty by the multiplicity of philosophical, monetary, creative, scientific and humanitarian principles that have tried to explain it. Beauty was found before the establishment of any branch of knowledge bearing the name “Aesthetics “.The ancient civilizations have produced an aesthetic heritage In interior design works , the impressive quantity of which still attests to the reasons of their beauty although living conditions have changed completely thereafter. Modern aesthetic philosophies have also produced aesthetics in interior design with special features that correspond to the fast and automatic nature of the age, the increasing number of consumers and the diversity of their needs, ideas, attitudes, and cultural, social and religious background. And therefore the study of the elements of beauty in all the work that history has given as markers on the path of humanity from ancient times to the present is needed. Therefore, the problem of research is to determine how the philosophy of beauty differed from the old, and to identify the most important aesthetic values characteristic of each age. The extent of the reflection of the aesthetic philosophy of thinkers and philosophers on the aesthetics of the interior spaces of buildings and the way of shaping the elements of the interior design of the roofs and walls and floors, etc., needs to be identified and then to know whether there are specific values in all works agreed upon by everyone who watches. Hence, the research aims to identify the aesthetic philosophy and aesthetic awareness of philosophers and thinkers of old and recent, and the extent of its reflection in the creation of aesthetic values of internal spaces, and determine whether there are general values of the beauty of internal space suitable for all time and place.

The world is now witnessing a growing interest in environment and sustainable development. Over the past three decades, technology consumption has increased in all its forms, and there is no longer any interest in the sustainability of architecture or interior architecture. This is due to different lifestyles that have become a consumption pattern resulting into serious environmental crises. At the present time, the causes of the environmental problem are; firstly, many of the resources that are consider to be a reality are likely to be depleted in the near future, and secondly, to the increasing environmental pollution caused by the harmful waste which people produce. Therefore, these factors contributed to the increased awareness of the environmental role, worsening the pollution problem in the world and the emergence of the demands of preserving the environment and sustainability, especially in architecture and interior architecture. As a result of this development, the technology of compatible materials appeared in recent decades. It appeared in many of the outstanding projects, which aims to preserve the environment and reduce pollution, thus influencing the development of environmental design principles and enriching the design thought starting from the early stages of the design process to the completion of the choice of building materials that are compatible to the surrounding environment in order to achieve sustainable internal spaces. However, these attempts are limited in the local environment and have not been taken the seriously. Therefore, the problem of the research emerged in the negligence of the environmental side (ecological) in the selection of the building materials during the design process to achieve sustainable buildings.

He said: "He who contemplates the truth of creation, and what Allah has created in this universe, finds it in a state of harmony and integration in Him. Allah has said:" Make us night and day, two verses. (Great truth of God). This intuitive truth reveals the need for an axis that represents the purpose of this harmony and cosmic integration, and what the Qur'an calls the harnessing of the universe to man is an accurate expression of the centrality of man to the universe. The basis of the relationship between man and the universe is interaction and integration. If we consider the creation of God to man - the axis of this universe - we find that all organs of his body act as an integrated unit, to achieve optimal performance. Therefore, man has played through the ages in the process of composition and innovation and the collection of elements of the environment and put them in a particular configuration to give something has a function or meaning, which is known as the process of design in the ongoing attempts to form language is understood between him and the ocean or the space in which he lives, Its physical composition, functional form and aesthetic appearance is the container in which humanity interacts to form the civilization that is the highest and most noble of humanity. In the design experiments of the various internal spaces, man found that the integration of the elements of the interior design leads to a better and more comfortable design for the occupants, where the group of elements of the design process are integrated to achieve balance. If the elements fail to achieve integration, the unrest will prevail.

This study discusses the different types and shapes of elastic bands used in the textile industry as concerns the width, reinforcement, fabric structure, material as well as the properties of each type and its different structures in addition to examining their impact on the used fabrics. Elastic bands usually consist of thin plastic threads woven with thin cotton, mixed or synthetic threads to secure the elasticity that is necessary for the bands. based on this, elastic bands are categorized in accordance with their structure into braided, woven, knitted and raw elastics. Natural rubber latex is the raw material of the rubber used in elastic bands and it is gathered from rubber trees which are common to East Asian countries such as (Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia). This natural product is then processed and treated with different chemicals at different cycles which eventually lead to the production of a form of rubber suitable for different practical aspects of this study are lab examinations intended for measuring the elongation and stretch of the elastic band on application with different fabrics before washing and after being washed five different times at 40 degrees Celsius and 5 more times at 90 degrees Celsius. 36 different samples were examined before and after washing. Imported elastics had the best performance in the pre-washing test while Egyptian elastics had the best performance in the post-washing test which was conducted in different temperatures. Thus, the best method of application-washing test while Egyptian elastics had the best performance in the post-washing test which was conducted in different temperatures. Thus, the best method of application was shown to be stitching the elastic directly to the fabric using zigzag stitches.

The area of textile printing in general is characterized by many different printing and design areas that deal with the study of all types of printed products such as clothing, furniture, Hangings...etc. The field of designing women's fabrics is one of the most important areas that address a group of consumers interested in everything that is new and elegant and attractive, with its psychological and moral impact, including the designs, decorations and colors affect the psychology and behavior of wearing, and the rare research on the designs of one piece For women's dresses printed in the study and analysis, and for the presence of some fabrics of women's dresses with beautiful and distinct designs, does not show the beauty of its design and the way of distribution of decorative elements on the model when you feel it, which leads to wasting a lot of fabrics and pigments...etc. To get a printed and simulated dress in a way that shows the beauty of the printed design and increase its elegance, as some designs of ladies' fabrics appear the beautiful printed cloth, and when you feel it does not look so beautiful, only specific parts appear and other parts of the design disappear. Women to wear innovative dresses and distinctive in keeping with the fashion of the times, but sometimes does not fit the printed design model or show the beauty of the dress. The current research attempts to use digital design and printing techniques to reach a collection of designs for a single piece of short printed ladies' dresses, inspired by Aznik ceramic decorations for the production of printed fabrics that are contemporary and traditional in nature. And the possibility of moving the parts that represent the focus of design, or the best design parts that fit the form of the dress and design parts that appear clear on the model while wearing before printing, This leads to the recognition of the expected results of the design before implementation, and reduces the time and effort, in addition to the renewal and innovation in design helps to increase the distribution rates of printed textile products.

Art is the bridge connected with a child's feelings and emotions. Through art we can address a child's mind and feelings. Since the middle childhood is an ongoing educable development stage; therefore, the present research aims to create and executing apparel designs for the children aged between 6 and 9 inspired by the deep-rooted Egyptian civilization to enhance the children's sense of belonging to their identity as Egyptian and their love for their country when they put on such clothes while participating in national celebrations. The present research is crucial in attempting to enrich the field of child apparel design through creating innovative designs which reflect the majestic Egyptian civilization. The researcher created a character inspired by the shape of pyramids and the colors of the Egyptian flag with human emotions. The character is drawn in a manner attractive to the middle childhood stage. It is then applied as a motif on 10 apparel designs appropriate to the middle childhood, in a way which boosts the children's sense of belonging and nationalism to Egypt. As an assessment to the designs' ability to achieve the purpose of the research, two questionnaires have been created; one addressed to specialists, while the other is addressed to mothers. The results of the statistical analyses show that both specialists and mothers chose Design No. 8 and Design No. 2 which averaged 98% and 97% respectively, while Design No.5 achieved the least arithmetic average according to specialists at 94%. And Design No.3 reflected the least arithmetic average by mothers at 91%. 1- Introduction The present era is an age of exposure and a massive information revolution, which may fill a child withawe and amazement. This may lead the child to imitate what he/she sees and have his/her sense of belonging negatively affected. And since middle childhood is an ongoing educable development stage, it is selected to be the age where a child's nationalism, sense of belonging and love for their country are boosted by the hands of art. Since apparel design is a form of visual arts, it is utilized to be threshold for enhancing the Egyptian children's sense of belonging. For that purpose, an innovative character inspired by the pyramids shape and the colors of the Egyptian flag with human emotions was created. the character was applied as a motif on innovative apparel designs drawing their inspiration from the basic elements of the ancient Egyptian civilization, in a way which boosts the children's sense of belonging, nationalism, and love for their country when they put on such clothes. The research problem can be addressed by the following questions: How to benefit from designing apparel which enhances the Egyptian children's sense of belonging and nationalism? How to benefit from the basic elements of the ancient Egyptian civilization in designing apparel which boost nationalism among children? Research objective The research aims to: Create apparel designs for middle childhood children that are inspired by the deep-rooted Egyptian civilization to enhance the children's sense of belonging to their identity as Egyptian. - Create a character inspired by mixing the basic elements of the Egyptian civilization (the pyramids’ shape and the colors of the Egyptian flag) and drawing it in a manner reflecting the drawings of children at that stage. The created apparel designs are to be used in boosting the children's sense of belonging and nationalism to Egypt. Research limitations - To design t-shirts for children aged between 6 and 9. - The colors of the Egyptian flag – the shape of the pyramid. Research methodology Research follows the descriptive analytical method and an application research. Research Tools A questionnaire to evaluate the design, followed by statistical analysis was used. Results The research results were achieved through the design 10 t-shirts for the children aged between 6 and 9 years old. two questionnaires were constructed to evaluate the suggested designs' ability to achieve the purpose of the research; one is addressed to specialists, and the other to mothers and the statistical analyses were made through SPSS. The validity of the questionnaire was evaluated through Kendall's Coefficient for the purpose of validating the concurrence of both specialists and mothers, and then the validity of the content was evaluated by Pearson Correlation. The consistency of the questionnaires of the mothers and specialists was tested by Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient and their reliability was tested through Spearman-Brown Coefficient's formula. Data analysis, rates, duplications, and the arithmetic average of the questionnaires of the mothers and specialists were performed using SPSS. The mothers' questionnaire and the specialists' questionnaire were then compared using the T-Test for the Independent Samples T-Test to determine the difference between the average aggregated opinions of mothers and specialists. A statistical description of the responses of the participants was made to identify the best proposed designs according to specialists and mothers by using (arithmetic average, and ratio significance). The results of the statistical analysis showed that both the specialists and the mothers chose Design No. 8 and Design No. 2 which averaged 98% and 97% respectively, while Design No.5 achieved the least arithmetic average according to specialists at 94%. And Design No.3 reflected the least arithmetic average by mothers at 91%. Conclusion The results confirm the achievement of the research’s aims in the creation of a character inspired by mixing the pyramids’ shape and the colors of the Egyptian flag in an attractive way, and the creation of the design of children's t-shirts for the age 6 – 9 that enhance the children's sense of belonging to their identity as Egyptian and their love for their country when putting on such clothes while participating in national celebrations.

The art of Japanese flower arrangement (Ikebana) is an art that teaches to think in a deeper way, self- esteem , gain the skills to recognize the importance of the things surrounding us in nature and appreciation with the link between art and human nature. The relationship between the designer and the Ikebana is spiritual, although there is a free flower arrangement it is based on studies and bases as well. The Japanese flower arrangement depends on ceramic pots and the connection between them and the same coordination in an integrated design where the proportion of the coordination is the ratio between the size of flowers and the size of the container placed in it. One of the most important features of Japanese flower arrangement is the reliance on a few flowers and some materials available in nature in harmony with the ceramic vessels used making it an important economic benefit. It is also simple in shape and fits in with different places and events. many are sustainable, especially those that rely on dry flowers and branches. Hence the idea of research to benefit from the various ceramic products in the Japanese flower arrangement for the production of flower arrangement with economic value, distinct design and materials available in the natural environment which allows jobs for designers and create small projects.

For thousands of years, Human civilizations have experienced several attempts to reach numbers in different ways. Each civilization was characterized by its own symbols for numbers that indicate the needs of this period of time. And that the numbers symbols were characterized by the civilization in which they originated The importance of studying the history of numbers is due to the knowledge of the design of the number and the intellectual content that is affected in each individual civilization And focus on the art of Islamic civilization “Subject of study “ where the study of numbers flourished in a sophisticated design based on diversity In particular, the concept of the theory of numbers (algorithm), which flourished in the Mamluk era The science of numbers was a major concern of Islamic thought from the outset. In the 10th century (The Brothers of ALSAFA) confirmed the superiority of the science of geometry and cosmology according to the traditions of Pythagorean and Greek The Pythagorean quad works on ordinal system of numbers and it is subject to a set of laws. It helps the geometric lines to gain new properties. The field of interior design and furniture is one of the most affected fields by the thought, philosophy and basics of Islamic art. Therefore, the research aims to benefit from the theory of numbers in Islamic art for design of modern, contemporary interior designs.

The "Educational Methods" become an integral part of the learning process at all. By which both students and educators can easily achieve their goals. It also plays an important role concerning the development of information technology revolution. Thus, it becomes indispensable in our life as one of the basic educational pillars. The use of educational methods becomes more popular all over the world. It is called educational "Methods" as it paves the way for students along with educators to acquire additional skills, widely interact within a friendly and encouraging atmosphere, leaving the space for further interactions and communications. Since the second half of twentieth century, the "Educational Methods" has undergone a lot of updates and improvements. It is no longer depends on the oral attributes, but on creating contemporary and modern applicable methodologies. The objective of this research is preparing a small and simple mannequin that imitates the form of the human body as a new"Educational Method" during the course of "Principles of Apparel Design" subject. Thus, the students could manifest the element of shape in order to apply the principles of designing. In addition, this new method will give them chances to create and innovate new designs that differ from the traditional ones whichwere based on using the manual sketches. In this research we handled both the theoretical and practical approaches of the "Educational Methods". As for the theoretical one, we defined the "Education Method", its significance, types and the criteria which should be followed. While in the practical one, we illustrated the experiments implemented with the first-year students, Apparel department, Faculty of Applied Arts. We also gave a full description for the elements of experiment such as: educational method "the small mannequin", the fabric which used to drape on the small doll such as the "Calico" and the normal big fixed mannequin. And also Giving a precise description for all the steps involved in order to achieve the intended goals due to the use of this educational tool, targeting the first-year students of Apparel department, Faculty of Applied Arts , giving a brief description around the course of "Principles of Apparel Design" subject for which the new "Educational Tool" will be used , explaining the element of "Shape", Implementing the experiment and exhibiting the students` art works appraising this educational tool and how far could it successfully achieve the desired goals. Research Problems: 1- During the course of "Principles of Apparel Design" subject, there was a bad need for a dimensioned educational tool to help the students in understanding the element of "Shape". Accordingly, they could be able to apply their designs directly on the small doll using the easiest and most innovative means. 2- Despite the great importance and effectiveness of the "Educational Tool", it couldn`t obtain enough share through research, study and scrutiny processes. Besides, the students preferred to use the imported educational tools rather than trying to create local ones. Research objectives: 1- Depending on an innovative "Educational Tool" in order to help the instructors teaching the element of "Shape" during the course of "Principles of Apparel Design" subject. 2- Unleash the power of the innovative thinkingfor the students to freely apply their fashion designs on the small mannequin. 3- Directly implement their experiments on the fixed mannequin using the "Calico" fabric which previously applied on the small doll. Research limitations: The experiment has been implemented in the Faculty of Applied Arts with the first-year students, Apparel department. The objective was creating illuminated smart fashion design for women. Research methodology: Descriptive, analytical method and experimental method. Results: 1- There are statically significant differences between the average degrees of the pre/post cognitive test at (0.01) degree for the sake of post achievement/ cognitive test. Besides, there are statically significant differences between the average degrees of the pre/post cognitive test at (0.01) degree for the sake of post achievement/competency test, which confirms the validity of the second hypotheses. 2- The effectiveness of using the suggested "Educational Tool" to teach the element of "Shape" during the course of "Principles of Apparel Design" subject, which confirms the validity of the first hypothesis. 3- The success of the suggested "Educational Tool" in paving the way for the students to freely apply their innovative designing ideas during the course of "Principles of Apparel Design" subject, which confirms the validity of the third hypotheses.

Arabic letters as units of artistic design in Islamic manuscripts: the influence of Arabic calligraphy on arts across the world Objectives of this Research Project To shed light on formulations of Arabic letters as units of design with examples from Islamic manuscripts To describe and analyse works by various western artists whose works include letter formulations of calligraphy. Arabic script has been used to embellish images, and decorate architecture by artists in an outstanding creative craftsmanship that is unprecedented across the world, so much so that this art remains unique to this day, and time. Letters of the Arabic alphabet evidently show design units that have been used in decorative artistry throughout the Islamic world. The Arabic calligraphy constituted a medium for learning, a manifestation of beauty in Arab Islamic culture, and evolving into eighty distinctive schools so far. Moslem artists brought life to the otherwise inanimate letters, embellishing them with vivacious plants, and geometric shapes to make masterpieces of their penmanship. Exalting the quest of learning is embedded in Moslem culture, as the verse in the Glorious Quran urges people to learn” Read ! Allah is the most Generous, He had taught man by the pen what man had never known”. It is because of this deep respect for learning symbolized by the pen that artists of calligraphy enjoyed high social status down the ages in the Muslim world. No wonder, they continue to develop, beautify, and upgrade their art as well as the techniques of this highly appreciated craftsmanship. Arabic script with letters as units of design has been prominent throughout the world through the interplay and intertwining between drawings, calligraphy and decorations in wondrous styles of design as is the case of Maqamat Al Hariri stories, and Yahia Al Wasiti manuscript. The Islamic artistic trend of using Arabic calligraphy in harmony with geometric shapes, images, plants, and formats influenced the western world as we can see in the works of many western graphic designers who have been developing the Latin script using decorative styles that remind us of the golden era of the various Arabic calligraphy arts of the Islamic culture, and civilization. The significance of this research project derives from the artistic schools of our Arab Islamic cultural heritage evolving and added to by western artists using various techniques to form script in their distinctive works in modern styles. This research project focuses on how Arabic calligraphy influenced works by European artists: The forms, symmetrical designs and flow of the Arabic script which created distinctive visual art in every sense. On many occasions, complex Arabic calligraphy designs would be included as decorative themes only, and not an actual reading material. As much, the design would function a complimentary themes incorporated in works of art such as posters, flyers, and even sculptures. The influence of Arabic calligraphy with its distinctive dynamics on European art was never researched from this perspective before, although home research was conducted on the art of incorporating Arabic letters in European works. This project will also shed light on various aspects, mechanisms, designs and dynamics of Arabic calligraphy work by sampling works by European artists who used Latin script in their art. The hypothesis of the research: European artists made use of formulating techniques specific to Arabic letter formations by Muslim artists shown in Islamic manuscript. It is quite fascinating to see how they distributed Latin letters, linked that to the general theme of the work, with the image, and design forms.

The tragedies and conflicts and the general scene in the Arab region and the blood that is flowing without stopping, and religious conflict flared summon the appearance of Sufi trend again in a letter to the universe its content that the religion is for God and whoever loves his god a pure love in any religion, he does not kill and slay, hence the importance of the appearance of the Sufi thought again in similar circumstances to its previous beginnings during the attacks of the Tatar and Crusader campaigns and the fall of Baghdad and the Levant and flared the religious and sectarian conflict and the burning of libraries and cut off the heads. Formative art has an important role in spreading the Sufi thought again, artistic work is an emotional charge by the artist to stir feelings and reflections and emotions, especially the passion of beauty, and hence, we find a close connection between Formative art in general "sculpture in particular" and the thought of mysticism, Islamic art is linked to the cosmic vision brought by Islam, and the relationship between Islamic art and divine revelation is the result of the organic relationship between art and worship in Islam, between thinking about God as ordered by the Koran and the intellectual nature of this art, between the mention of God, who is the ultimate goal of worship in Islam and the role played by Formative art in the life of the individual. Technology is an important component of the components of the creative process and the relationship between it and art is old since the beginning of man on earth, where art is the result of interaction between man and society, technology affect the thought and philosophy of the artist as it develops the experimental aspect in his works, which led to a great development in the forms of painting, sculpture and photography, or in other words in the arts in general, many of the scientific and technical development has been achieved during the nineteenth century and the twentieth century inventions, and scientific and psychological discoveries, the formative creativity was influenced by this technological thought, and the field of vision and the role of cognitive perception have expanded as well as the Sensory and visual perception of the artist, and thanks to the non-traditional technological media, which influenced through modern technologies, influenced the sculptural creative thought and the development of technical concepts and the addition of new formative values imposed by scientific and technological progress, it assured to the artist his opportunity to innovate and experiment freely. The technological influence appears in the artistic movements, which is the most prominent is the idea of light analysis through the prism, that the vision of the form is done from different angles, and then the idea of deception visual emerged, where light in its technical meaning is the light that helps to highlight the characteristics of the objects and their nature and increases its clarity as it gives us a sense and touch of shapes and translate the sense of the body , shape and space and cancel the mixing between them, light is an important aspect of the design work, which is related closely to its vital nature and the important aspects it achieves at various levels, it's natural and synthetic types is a fertile field for research and studies.

Religion and faith are of the most factors that affect all architectural forms andcomponents. Muslim clerks used to write about :( the regulations of building). They specified chapters in fiqh (jurisprudence) books, that they even wrote independent books. That jurisprudential heritage has contributed in putting a group of design and architectural criteria that the architects were keen on taking into consideration inside and outside Islamic buildings. The Islamic hammams were among buildings that took jurisprudential directions into consideration in their building. Independent books were compiled about hammams conveying judgments of scientists concerning the conditions that should be applied during building the hammam and the shape of changing room (maslakh) ,warm room (Bait awal), heat room (Bait harara) , ovens, sinks, floors, roofs and walls. These conditions were greatly considered during building hammams . Although the Islamic civilization inherited the idea of public hammams from the previous civilizations especially the Roman and Greek civilizations ,nevertheless, the architectural form of Islamic hammam were different from those of previous hammams . Islamic hammams adhered to religious regulations in working system. They assigned hammams for men and others for women. Bathtubs and waterways were designed in a specific way according to the jurisprudential rules of water cleanliness. The inside components of hammams were affected by Islamic values. Muslim scholars conveyed different issues in their writings related to the architecture of hammams from Islamic point of view. Those jurisprudential opinions were applied in a lot of hammams in the Islamic world that will be conveyed in this study.

Ancient Egypt is known for its to restore life and give immortality to the dead owner. Tomb in ancient Egypt was one of the most influential civilizations and designed to reflecte their religious function. Tomb was sacred for controlling the chaotic, evil forces in the universe that sought to undermine universal order. Throughout history, Architectural Tomb developed a vast array of diverse structures, great architectural monuments, The built starting with shallow graves and bodies buried in a fetal position. The ancient Egyptian Tomb architecture style of kings was significance than Nobles and courtiers. Tomb robbing Early Dynastic Period was recognized as a serious problem. Whereas its constructed in pyramid complex and the chambers and hallways of the tomb filled with debris, to prevent theft, but even so, the tomb was broken into and looted; even the king’s mummy was taken. This what make architecture in New Kingdom of Egypt commissioned a special village to be constructed near Thebes with easy access to a new royal necropolis, which would be more secure. This new burial place is known today as the Valley of the Kings By these great stages we start to analyze The Devolpment Stages of Royal Tomb Structure in Ancient Egypt From the old kingdom to first Tuthmosis in New Kngdom which includes the main stage of development in ancient Egyptian royal tomb.

Islamic art came with its culture and creed and crystallized for us in its condition, which was distinguished from previous art. It came with a beautiful simple carrying with it a science and culture and a creed to send a simple calm beauty that leaks to the soul creates a spirit of visual and psychological calm. The Islamic art dealt with art and architecture as a product and heritage of the whole world, which had a great impact in shaping the world vision and especially in the applied product in Europe, both old and new. The study dealt with the study of Islamic art in the form of the factor and the functional products in particular and the most important features of Islamic art and its impact on the development of the European design idea of the product through the factors that caused the European influence of Islamic art in the field of art and product design three-dimensional. The research also deals with the development of the applied product in Europe in the early 20th century and the influence of Islamic art in the development of design globally and the emergence of artistic movements which were mainly Islamic art and the most important schools and artistic and design movements influenced by Islamic art such as architecture and cubism. Etc. and their impact on product design. It also deals with the role of Arab scientists in the fields of engineering, arithmetic and architecture in changing the European thinking in the design processes related to the functional product, through which the development of the world thought later ... Germany established an institute for Arab Islamic sciences in Frankfort to present philosophy and theories in various fields.

The emergence of the Islamic religion has had a profound impact on changing the face of the aesthetic view of everything in life. The artist was interested in the essence and the rush towards the absolute to move from the finite to the infinite in a moral horizon which makes the self to rise to the spiritual beauty realm. The Muslims' view of aesthetic taste was not based on the sensual perception only, but on the relationship with all beautiful thinga through his mental perception that reveals the beauty of the content and ascertains the moral relationship between the artist and his surroundings through his relationship with the house and the mosque that became an integral part of his soul which was produced by the environment, including the precise Arabic lathing in the bay window (Mashrabiya) which has reached a high degree of accuracy and workmanship. Arabic lathing is distinguished with accurate and precise details to suit the Islamic faith and become one of the creative products of geometric shapes and of the most important features of Islamic civilization. The space is an important component of the composition of the Mashrabiya which consists of a group of lathed stained wood of different forms (Brameq). Hence, the problem of research which deals with the latent energy of the space dynamics resulting from the repetition of the 3-D Brameq forms through multiple spaces, which arise from the sensory mechanism in the realization of space that is recognized by the human mind as inputs emphasize the spatial dynamics in the formation of Mashrabiyats. However, most researchers and scholars deal with the space element from the perspective of the reciprocal relationship between form and ground without emphasizing the latent energy outputs of space dynamics, which led the artist to generate infinite new ideas through some creative design treatments to be used in the field of Arab carpentry. Thus, the research problem can be identified in the following question: How can the latent energy of the space dynamics be an aesthetic source in the Arab lathing? This research hypothesizes that the latent energy of the space dynamics is an aesthetic source in the Arab lathing. It aims to direct the interest in the Arab lathing in the design of modern carpentry products, with the disclosure of the latent energy in the space dynamics when building Mashrabiyats and achieving continuous communication between the past and present in the field of Arabic furniture. The limits of the research are confined to some selections from the Arabic lathing. The research depends on the descriptive analystic approach in a theoretical framework. The research importance is to work hard to revive the Arab lathing industry to increase the national income and to link the latent energy of the space dynamics with the field of Arab lathing as well as to seek to achieve authenticity and contemporary in the creation of the Arab lathing through the space dynamics

This research is based on studying the tourist’s advertising design for Egypt compared to the other tourist’s advertising design for other countries. That the design of tourist’s advertising for Egypt is a wrong marketing for great potentials, that Egypt has a recreational, religious, archaeological, therapeutic and safari tourism where it has three-quarters of the world's monuments, and many of coastal areas on White and Red seas, which rich with beautiful landscapes above and below the water, and where many of water sports are available, this is beside the desert areas which is suitable for safari tourism, that’s beside many other types of tourism. Hence, the research problem is in the extent of the presence of multiple species of tourism in Egypt in the tourist’s advertising design for Egypt, and the extent of difference and similarity between the tourist’s advertising design for Egypt and tourist’s advertising design for other countries, also if there a specific target group from tourist’s advertising for Egypt, and what is the extent of the tourist advertising to Egypt on the scene now. The purpose of the research is an attempt to grasp the absent thought in the field of tourist’s advertising design for Egypt, to become in competitive of tourism ads for other countries. The research concluded to several resultsthe most important is that the tourist’s advertising design for Egypt is focusing on the same elements without renewal for years, with the similarity of presentation method. And that the relationship between the tourist’s advertising design of Egypt and the tourism ads of other countries is very limited relationship, and it was not a benefit of thought or methods of output and implementation of advertising, but it was a match relationship which did not fit the nature of tourism in Egypt, nor the target groups of the advertising.

The problem of the research can be framed in the following main question: What are the considerations to be followed when designing the visual identity of any establishment, institution, service organization, industrial or commercial entity to produce a design guide for advertising campaign publications? The research aims are to achieve several objectives: 1. Access to the list of visual identity design criteria to produce a guideline for the publication designer must be followed when designing the identity of institution publications. 2. Develop a list of criteria for logo design within the Visual Identification Guide System. 3. Develop a list to classify the design patterns of logos commonly used within the visual identification guide system. Competitiveness in the world of consumer societies today, whether produced or imported, requires what is known as visual identity or marketing identity (Branding), and the enterprises with its different activities compete to develop a guideline to this identity that distinguishes it and distinguishes its products. Therefore we as teachers of design in Department of Printing, Publishing and Packaging, Applied Arts faculty should care for studying the required considerations of designing the visual identity of the facility, institution, or organization either commercial, industrial, or service. The Conclusion of the study is that the design of the visual identity could be formed as a publications guide through five factors; First is following the criteria of the design idea of the logo, second is using the style of the logo design, third is designing of a distinctive decorative unit, fourth is choosing distinctive colors, Fifth is designing a distinctive typography. Also it’s proved through the statistical results of the research, that the design criteria, design style, design of the distinctive decorative unit, chosen colors, and the typography style are indicators of the standards of visual identification.

The Arabic script with its different types and ways is considered a wealthy field of mental imagination, which creates an opportunity for cultural dialogue. It is considered an interpretation for the inventory of the designer / calligrapher conscious and subconscious and the Arabic script becomes a meeting invitation between the the designer or the calligrapher's vision and the reader's imagination. It is clear that despite the variation in the Arabic script and its richness, yet, the character of the Arabic script is constant, which means that the designer /calligrapher doesn't have the right to change the basics shape of the Arabic lettering as it is defined and agreed upon, but the final outcome, vision or direction of the creative formation of the letter is endless . In the 70s of the previous century a group of Alphabet specialists emerged where their works varied between Calligraphy and Typography with its contemporary perspective. The research aims to inspire an Arabic alphabet from the Gothic script, also known as the Black Letter or Gothic handwriting, and the conversion of the calligraphy in the Gothic handwriting into an Arabic typographic alphabet through the use of the experimental method. The study has shown the continuity of the reciprocal relationship between the Arabic script and the Latin script, and that the contemporary designer has the ability to benefit from simulation Through a combination of what is an object and the automatic expression.

Beads have been used since ancient times. Originally beads were used as amulets for men and women as well as a magical ideological means in the first place to put out envy in addition to its use in decorations. These oldest beads were made from organic materials such as bone, horn, ivory, teeth, stones, seeds, shells, nuts, wood and insect resins which were deliberately piercing. Over the years new materials and methods of making beads have been introduced. The art of beads has been evolved over the years. Although many traditional techniques are still widespread, Bead weaving is constantly evolving with many techniques as well as the various forms and materials available to bead workers. Therefore the study aims to use bead weaving techniques (square stitch, peyote stitch, brick stitch, herringbone stitched) to produce trimmings such as (collars, cuffs, pockets, etc) for apparel as the beads were woven without loom using needle and nylon thread to produce bead weaving trimmings with beading patterns from fashion trends ss 2018.

The concept of reciprocity in ceramic art besides the method and technique of the clay material and the conversion of its sculpture properties, as ideas for designs that are employed in the production of ceramic sculptures through building ceramic piece of art owing interactive elements that makes its 3D structure compatible and formally balanced, revealing new features that opens advanced horizons to develop the artistic vision of the contemporary ceramics. This could be achieved through its use by the method of fitting the elements of the art form to create new artistic variable capable to be used as ceramic sculptures in a way showing the intellectual, technical, formulation and constructivism aspects of the ceramic art and to be an initiative for its concepts and contents understanding. Due to the scarcity of studies in this field, the scientific research problem assured that the beneficiary from the reciprocity between the ceramic form elements in implementation of ceramic sculpture is low , which has made our research aims to reach the most important structural foundations for interactive shape elements to produce a contemporary ceramic sculptures, That is why this research came in four chapters, chapter I of which illustrate the problem, the research importance, the need for its results and how to achieve the research goal and then the terms that are directly related to the title and purpose of the research. Chapter II dealt with the theoretical framework, it came in two parts to prove in the first part of it "reciprocity between arts" in the second part dealing with "The evolution and characteristics of porcelain". Chapter III, monitored related research and information to our results through several samples that were our research borders that relied on the descriptive, analytical curriculum. Finally the conclusion came assuring the research goal, chapter IV included the research results besides several recommendations and suggestions followed by the Arabic and foreign references list.

design is transforming ideas and dreams into reality, but to achieve these dreams we must follow several steps to set the goals and draw the procedure to achieve them. There are many ways of design teaching which may vary in their methodology, but they all share the aim of achieving a successful design product that satisfies the teacher, student and the recipient or the user of the designed product. But without enhancing the students ' motivation for learning and creativity these goal cannot be achieved. This paper discusses several axes: First: factors affecting students' motivation. Second: to any extent choosing the academic content affects creativity motivation of students. Third: An applied sample for selecting a real applicable project within a teaching curriculum in design field. Research methodology: This research follows an applied approach as it presents an applied model for the effect of content on stimulating the creative aspects and students' interaction with the educational process. Problem: There is a kind of spacing between design study in academic institutions and actual practice fields, resulting in lack of academic students to realistic experiences and therefore suffering weak educational and creativity motivation. Importance: This paper focuses on the role of realistic project selection in design teaching, binding the educational process with concrete community needs to enhance creativity motivation among design students'. Goal: To stimulate students ' creativity motivation in the field of design and supporting the educational process in order to be more efficient.

There is no doubt that Arab architecture largely affected, when we ask about the method of design used in residential buildings?, we do not find an answer to this question the absence of method, after what marked by Islamic architecture with unique style and the specificity of the Absolute, we are moving in the "Install not has nothing related to our history, our roots cultural and civilizational links except very rarely. This study, therefore, we will try to analyze the experience of the Arab Engineering Zaha Hadid this Deconstructive design style to extract solutions that help us in the design process in line with the Arab identity and maintains its uniqueness and distinctiveness, so as not to melt the cultural identity in the face of globalization.

Painting has always been the most important evidence of history. It has preserved documentary records before the invention of any modern means of photography. Since I studied painting in historical periods throughout the human history starting with the appearance of symbols and marks in the first man layouts, I found the oriental paintings to be the most accurate and aesthetically pleasing in recording and preserving the Arab heritage. Regardless of the circumstances and conditions they came with into the Arab countries. Hence, we find that the motivation to discover the secrets of the East and magic and light of the sun. pictures of farms and fields and markets and the ways of trade are often found along with interesting drawings of Arab women in the rituals of weddings and daily life. Scholars of culture and heritage often refer to these oriental paintings. The preservation of heritage came to clothes according to the country where the orientalist resided and architectural styles along with the economy of the country of trade or agriculture. in fact, we cannot locate an aspect the portrayal of orientalists has not covered. The problem of research is to describe and explain the role oriental painters played in preserving the Arab heritage of the 19th century. In this research I discuss the ability of oriental painters to preserve the important details of the Arab heritage, and the quality of what they have transmitted to us and the impact of there paintings on several literatures meant to preserve Arab heritage in those times. I assume through this research: that oriental painters did have a significant role in preserving the Arab heritage which has many fields interested in the Arab heritage. The research includes several main themes: Arab heritage and its comprehensiveness, oriental painters and their role in recording the Arab heritage. Categorizing paintings of orientalists by each Arab country they have established. The present study seeks to teach paintings of orientalists and shed light on their role in preserving the Arab heritage and emphasizing their high craftsmanship and technical performances to preserve the evidence of time. The research aims to monitor the historical role of Orientalist painters by studying and analysing the most important elements they have taken in their paintings.

Design in Egypt must be shifted from imitating design in developed countries that focuses on design as a synonym for styling and producing luxury products, towards concentrating on the needs of the Egyptian society. In the context of craft development in Egypt, different activities of design must be redirected strategically toward meeting the needs of the local people both as consumers and as producers. In so doing, designers must work actively on improving craftsmen productivity in order to increase their income as well as to interpret people’s needs into appropriate and affordable products. Then at certain point these products must be connected efficiently with niche markets. This paper argues that recent design thinking can support designers with new strategic insights and methods to anticipate challenges, to optimize the choices, and to synthesis the desirable solutions in the future. This in turn will lead to empowering local people and integrating them in a sustainable economic situation. To ensure effective cooperation and participation at the national level, designer’s efforts must go hand in hand with other disciplines and must be sponsored by different stakeholders to promote development in specific craft sector. This paper is mainly concerned with answering the following questions: What kind of design solutions could be expected to empower local craftsmen? Who exactly can participate in producing this solution? How could designers support national policy towards sustaining crafts development efforts in Egypt?

The current paper presents an artistic analysis based on the visual features for one of the most significant stone memorial Stele of “Naram-Sin” . The Victory Stele was created to commemorate Naram-Sin’s victory over Satuni king of ‘Lullubi’, a nomadic tribe. The paper discusses the importance of the Stele as an important historical record in terms of artistic features where the artist deliberately depicts landscape as well as the embodiment of the victorious Akkadian king. It is known that the representation of the concept of divinity differed from civilization to another, but the paper highlights the way in which Akkadian artist expresses the concept of the power of divinity and its relation to the power of kingship in the memorial Stele of King Naram-Sin. The current paper investigates the distinctive and fundamental role of the artistic elements of the divinity power collaborating with the royal one, in the victory over the enemies. This is reflected in many artistic manifestations that illustrate the concept of divinity in an important reference from the artist to its importance of this belief in political and military life, which was also associated with the appearance and the body of the king and his performance. All the artistic manifestations reflect the role of the goddess’ blessing for the victorious king "Naram Sin". The paper also analyzes the methodology of the Acadian artist in illustrating the nature. It is clear how the artist portrays the details of the nature and its vocabulary, which replaced any built environments or architectural details that may distinguish the battle location. These landscape details were useful in analyzing the nature of the geographical features of the city. The present paper stresses the importance of analysis of the memorial Stele, as the era of the time was the most important beginnings to portray the landscape in the Akkadian art.

Identity is a complex of roads and turns. It remains difficult to be defined. Identity can be fixed or changing but definitely problematic in its meanings and manifestations. Depicting Nubian visual culture before 60th can be a means to artistic experimentation and a material for inspiration for myself as a Nubian textile designer. It can somehow bridge the gap between form and content; between the visual and essence of Nubian symbolic meaning and heritage. This paper will present how the researcher can use different design / drawing techniques to convey the aesthetic and the realistic. It also outlines the practice-based method as a constructive approach to develop the researcher’s skills by focusing on her Nubian cultural identity to encourage different societies to learn about Nubian heritage. The focus of this paper is to show how the linkage between using different artistic media, digital printing and image collecting of old Nubians houses and representative symbols before the 60’s is used as an experimental strategy through digital technology and other techniques in order to create contemporary designs inspired by Nubian visual culture. This paper will discuss my experiential learning and the practice of the artistic approach by novel use of symbols/ patterns inspired by Nubian visual culture, using digital printing, drawing and dyeing techniques. It will discuss how different dyeing and printing methods can be used to create unique artwork wall hanging designs to express Nubian visual culture. The results of some experimental and artwork were presented in different exhibitions to express the author’s viewpoint of Nubian heritage and her cultural identities through practice and her journey to express the Nubian heritage before resettlement in the 60’s.

Tally is a netting fabric embroidered with metal. The embroidery is done by threading wide needles with flat strips of metal about 1/8” wide. The metal may be nickel silver, copper or brass. The netting is made of cotton or linen. The fabric is also called tulle-bi-telli. The patterns formed by this metal embroidery include geometric figures as well as plants, birds, people and camels. Tally has been made in the Asyut region of Upper Egypt since the late 19th century, although the concept of metal embroidery dates to ancient Egypt, as well as other areas of the Middle East, Asia, India and Europe. A very sheer fabric is shown in Ancient Egyptian tomb paintings. The fabric was first imported to the U.S. for the 1893 Chicago. The geometric motifs were well suited to the Art Deco style of the time. Tally is generally black, white or ecru. It is found most often in the form of a shawl, but also seen in small squares, large pieces used as bed canopies and even traditional Egyptian dresses. Tally shawls were made into garments by purchasers, particularly during the 1920s.

Biomimicry is a design concept mimicking the nature, as an established sustainable system, as a mentor and a great source of inspiration through observing its models, systems, and processes, could help in reaching sustainable development, not only in environmental stewardship, but also in economical and social aspects as well. As a method for sustainability biomimicry constitutes the ability to help achieve sustainable development. Biomimicry can be defined as imitating or getting inspiration from the nature’s structures and processes to find solution for human’s problems. It is a new concept in architecture. Biomimicry can be considered as a multi- level method and a methodology of design which had underlying basics about learning from the nature and getting inspiration from it. Problem of this research is that the implications of Biomimicry method in architecture design had not been fully explored. This paper aims to incorporate this method into the idea of generation phase of the architecture design and development process within the context of design. The purpose of this paper is to introduce and create interest by the designers in the ideology of biomimicry that refers to sustainability by looking to the nature for answers because such a method brings into view a method for design taking into consideration the possibility of creating buildings inspired by the nature.

This paper aims to study the effects of light intensity on the digital image production, and therefore the accurate reproduction of details when tracing this digital image to the vector image. The paper used experimental and analytical methods to study the light intensity as the independent variable through the dependent variables "lens aperture, sensitivity speed (ISO)" and shutter speed. Next, the digital images obtained from the experiments were auto traced to vector images. Then, the results were measured and analyzed. While the results were identical to the hypotheses related to lens aperture and sensitivity speed (ISO) experiments, the shutter speed experiment results did not match the hypothesis: there is no change in the details of the vector image created through the variables shutter speed in the digital image. Therefore, using fast shutter speeds is recommended to increase the accuracy of the vector image details produced through the digital image.
