The study of the change in the shape of textiles in turn leads to a rigorous study of the structural compositions of the fabrics using geometric methods for the establishment of mathematical relations between structural installation agents on the one hand and fabric properties on the other hand, these were adopted Engineering methods are mainly based on theoretical hypotheses and on geometric models where the problem of research lies in the presence of many of the Twill fabrics produced under different labels and varieties with canonical stereotype specifications, but this research creates a mathematical relationship between the threads produced by some Different cotton spinning methods and the production of well-balanced twill fabrics with the calculations of the miseries and cover factor for the best laboratory and appropriate results with the functional performance of exterior cotton garment fabrics produced from the twill fabrics. The research presumes the possibility of arriving at a mathematical formula with a new constant, depending on the method of spinning and influencing on crimping in fabrics, and the research aims to study the effects of the sap on the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the producing fabrics, including the importance of research on the study of Woven structure Mathematically and calculation of coverage of the products produced by search variables The research methodology is based on the analytical experimental approach of the research samples produced, The results of the research are illustrated by the fact that by examining the mathematical relations and the calculation of the diameter used in both warp and weft yarns, in turn to be able to assume all the mechanical and functional properties produced for textiles, ants are given mathematical, balanced fabrics suitable for the functional purpose used.

Linguistic characters are either written or spoken symbols. Written Linguistic characters are only the embodiment of Spoken language; it is the transmission of sound to writing. The Arabic calligraphy is one of the strongest linguistic characters in the Arab-Islamic civilization. It is deeply reflecting the identity and originality of the Islamic nation, reflecting its historical depth, artistic sense, aesthetic taste, and its embodied spiritual values and abstract dimensions capable of translating the attitudes of the Arab-Muslim man toward the universe, life and values. It is also technically considered the world's most diverse and aesthetic calligraphy. The phenomenon of inspiration and the use of Arabic alphabet as Linguistic characters in the aesthetic composition and expression have become worthy of study and attention; Especially that it has become common in many works of furniture designers in Western and Arab countries, including the Arab Republic of Egypt. This research explains aesthetic and formative values of the Arabic calligraphy as authentic linguistic characters, and its use in the design of contemporary furniture,

People in the Arab societies suffer from many life problems, which are reflected in the forms and patterns of functional spaces that are dealt with on a daily basis. Due to the large increase in many geographical areas in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the presence of places with geographic problems that lead to many natural disasters such as This is reflected in the urgent need for the emergence of new types of urgent alternative spaces, known as emergency spaces, to find design solutions to solve functional problems such as housing, education or health, and try to find temporary alternative spaces of simple materials without putting more burdens on the country. The problem of sheltering disaster victims is a burden on the affected countries and individuals. Therefore, it is necessary to plan ahead of the shelter operations, identify the shelters and prepare in advance for prefabricated, easy to install and transport units to facilitate the speed of accommodation and relieve the effects of psychological and material suffering on everyone, and to calculate the available economic aspects. The research reviews some design solutions for emergency spaces, which serve as functional solutions to one of the community problems that need temporary emergency spaces. The research will be limited to reviewing solutions to only two problems; providing spaces for urgent housing and temporary spaces in remote areas and high population areas and emergency spaces as temporary hospital units. The study of the internal space of the emergency spaces is very important and is dealt with by the interior architecture designer with great interest as this type of establishments falls under the range of internal architecture of small spaces, making it difficult for the interior designer to desire the maximum possible use of the least space available in the pre-equipped unit and the need to provide all the elements of the space without urging the designer to delete any of those elements or dispense with them. Narrow spaces impose the designer to use a different design thought or in other words lead the designer to a more logical and a more abstract method of thinking about elements and things. The designer resorts to abstraction and careful thinking of the basic and most important things and elements. Abstraction does not mean deletion of any elements of the interior architecture of the pre-fabricated space or any factor of comfort and well-being. In order to study these facilities, the term pre-equipped emergency units should be defined.

Product design and development in recent years has significantly led to the emergence of new design trends, including the Universal design which is based on the principle of equality among all categories of people according to the use of things, and works to meet the needs and abilities of different types of users through transforming products from traditional products which serving a particular category of people to universal products which serving all categories of people, without the need for adaptation or specialized design, putting the designer in a new challenge: What are the techniques that can be used in Universal design process?. Creative thinking is the thinking that works to develop an old idea or to find a new idea that produces a distinct production that can be applied and used. It is the mental process that we use to reach new ideas or visions that lead to the integration and synthesis of ideas or things that are previously considered to be unrelated. Many scientists interested in creative thinking put many different methods and techniques for creative thinking to solve various problems in all fields and come up with creative solutions. So, the research problem summarized in determining the role of creative thinking techniques in the stages of Universal design process .The research aimed to determine the creative thinking techniques that can be used in Universal design process stages. To achieve this goal, the research used the analytical approach through a presentation of the concepts, principles, process and criteria of Universal design; Universal concept design; product design steps using universal design procedures; product assessment methods; concepts, principles, methods, techniques and process of creative thinking and Creative thinking process in design. By analyzing this information, it is possible to determine the creative thinking techniques that can be used in Universal design process stages. The main result of the research is determining the importance of creative thinking techniques in Universal design process stages. One of the most important recommendations of the research is the need to train designers in institutions and companies that work in the field of product design and development to use creative thinking techniques in product development.

Islamic civilization is one of the greatest human civilizations that has existed throughout the ages, and distinguished from others by its foundations and principles of material and spiritual constant. That civilization was concerned with man as its primary purpose, and therefore sought peace, security, the establishment of a virtuous society and the happiness of mankind. Islam, by its principles and values, was the source of inspiration for the development and prosperity of Islamic civilization. In this paper, we will present a brief description of the concept of civilization in general, and then the concept of Islamic civilization in particular, followed by the factors of its establishment, the foundations on which it was founded, its elements, its historical development, geography and prosperity factors and the different aspects of Islamic civilization. , In addition to shedding light on the family system in Islam as an effective system, it played a major role in the advancement of civilization, where the social stability of the marriage system reflected the other civilizational aspects of the Muslim society. The family is an important part of the base on which the Islamic community is based, so Islam gave it care and attention unless it was given by any other religious or social system. In order for the family to have an active role, it must be based on strong, durable and stable foundations, rooted in solid foundations, based on the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

The area of textile printing in general is characterized by many different printing and design areas that deal with the study of all types of printed products such as clothing, furniture, Hangings...etc. The field of designing women's fabrics is one of the most important areas that address a group of consumers interested in everything that is new and elegant and attractive, with its psychological and moral impact, including the designs, decorations and colors affect the psychology and behavior of wearing, and the rare research on the designs of one piece For women's dresses printed in the study and analysis, and for the presence of some fabrics of women's dresses with beautiful and distinct designs, does not show the beauty of its design and the way of distribution of decorative elements on the model when you feel it, which leads to wasting a lot of fabrics and pigments...etc. To get a printed and simulated dress in a way that shows the beauty of the printed design and increase its elegance, as some designs of ladies' fabrics appear the beautiful printed cloth, and when you feel it does not look so beautiful, only specific parts appear and other parts of the design disappear. Women to wear innovative dresses and distinctive in keeping with the fashion of the times, but sometimes does not fit the printed design model or show the beauty of the dress. The current research attempts to use digital design and printing techniques to reach a collection of designs for a single piece of short printed ladies' dresses, inspired by Aznik ceramic decorations for the production of printed fabrics that are contemporary and traditional in nature. And the possibility of moving the parts that represent the focus of design, or the best design parts that fit the form of the dress and design parts that appear clear on the model while wearing before printing, This leads to the recognition of the expected results of the design before implementation, and reduces the time and effort, in addition to the renewal and innovation in design helps to increase the distribution rates of printed textile products.

The civilized Message of Islam and the status of the Arabic language.

The thesis focuses on the civilizational message of Islam, and identifying the position of the Arabic Language therein, depending on the holy verse: “Allah is most knowing of where He places His message“(Surat Al-An’aam, verse no. 124), which proves that this message was sent to those who are fit for it, because Allah Almighty chooses for the prophecy who He knows is fit for it, and He knows well where to place His message, which means that the message of Allah has a specific place that it can only be placed in. The Qur'anic speech gives the attention priority to the person who carries the message, rather than the message itself, i.e., to the human being before looking at building the nation of the message, because this man is the one who will bear the burden of communicating the message in the way that Allah intended. Thus, the first aim of the Holy message was to focus on the essence of man, so that the casual of time, place and human was integrated in the entitlement process, and this integration resulted from a set of ingredients, the most important of which are: The collective spirit: that made Muslims realize that they have one origin, manifested, of course, in the rhetoric inimitability and the physical and psychological harmony they had acquired as if a force had given them this harmony in order to prepare them for the lofty mission of empowering religion and spreading it among people. The system of values: that establish this spirit, that was a practical system practiced among the Arabs, who need neither an order to force it nor an inscription to remind them thereof. The sanctity of words: which is the most powerful embodiment of the entitlement process, manifested through the Holy verses of Allah Al-mighty, revealed by Quran on the tongue of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, as well as in the system of the Holy Quran and its inimitability of words, meanings and denotations.

The dictum form follows function was coined by the American architect Louis Sullivan in his article "The Tall Office Building Artistically Considered" published in 1896 , he said" It is the pervading law of all things organic and inorganic, of all things physical and metaphysical, of all things human and all things superhuman, of all true manifestations of the head, of the heart, of the soul, that the life is recognizable in its expression, that form ever follows function. This is the law." However, that dictum is not a agreed general approach, Sullivan mentored Frank Lloyd Wright, who extended the idea to argue that form and function are one. Antonio Gaudi said "Form does not necessarily follow function" Ecro Saarinen said "Function influence but does not dictate form" Oscar Niemeyer said "my work is not about ‘form follows function’, but ‘form follows beauty’ or, even better, ‘form follows feminine". Thus, we see the wide controversy about what form follows in Architecture and applied arts, especially the interior design and furniture. This research is trying to deal with these views with the analysis and criticism, shedding light on the dictum which occupied and still occupies the specialists although of their different faiths and artistic orientations, what form follows?

Freedom of thought, choice and self-expression is the basis of creativity and excellence, mural painting is a state of creativity that takes you as a viewer to the artist world, living within his world, so easily dominated by the creative artist's thought, when you enter a hall dominated with murals or even a Show hall, then you know that you are in front of a real talent and a distinct thought and deep culture. Therefore, we believe very much as artists and intellectuals in the freedom of thought and creativity. Research problem: The academic method of teaching art is sometimes an impediment to freedom of thought and creativity. It can be delayed a little by the fears that can be determined if the student did not be given enough freedom, and from here I chose to work with the first year specialization in wall painting, before they abide by the academic rules , And before each of them underestimated his ideas, no matter how simple. Search Goal: Blowing the talents and internal energies of the students, so that each of them can find his own style in an easy and direct way, depends on the beginners spontaneity expression, before falling under the pressure of academic study. Research hypotheses: The research assumes that the spontaneity expression before entering the academic and classical ways of study, gives a lot of ideas and diversity in style and shows the differences of talents from each other, and from here shows the excellence and creativity. Research limits: - 1Methods of modern art and historical arts, each student according to his style. 2 - Working in the subject of mural painting during the academic year 2016 - 2017.

This research concerned on studying the design of interior spaces of ablution places in mosques. As it considered one of the most important spaces in mosques, where ablution is performed before praying. However, this space is one of the most disturbing elements of the mosques, especially if it is not designed or used in a good manner. So, studying of design and environmental considerations of these interior places of ablution is highly required in a contemporary manner that meets the needs of worshipers by taking advantage from design thought for ablution places in old mosques. Also the conditions and regulations that determine the relationship between place of ablution and place of praying must be known and elements of it's interior design must be studied. The problem of research is: The deteriorating situation of ablution places in mosques, some of which are due to the lack of architectural and interior design in the provision of modern design solutions appropriate to the greatness of this worship, as well as the violation of environmental requirements resulting from the waste of water and excessive use of electricity. None of us know the beginnings of the traditional handicrafts that the needs of the communities have called for. It has become one of the constants of our ancient heritage and the treasures of its people that cannot be removed from memory no matter how many years have passed. He derived from high technique and skills that made him an art that remained alive throughout the ages. The traditional industry is one of the main pillars that underpinned the economic environment of thousands of families, despite the decline of most of the artisans and diminishing at the present time, the most prominent of which are crafts, gold jewelry, silver jewelry, wood industry, carpets, It is worth mentioning that the handicraft of hand weaving has received a lot of turnout and spread, and we find that hand knitting craft, which can be known as Crochet in some cases can be produced in different types to meet the different tastes and purposes required to match in the form and use any other textile method, Here comes the problem of research, the revival and development of knitting as a handicraft that contributes to the preservation of our heritage of Egypt in a contemporary fashion suitable for the use of newly opened jobs for young artisans as small projects with low cost and economic feasibility. The aim of the research is to revive the hand knitting industry with products that are in line with the requirements of the modern era and compete in the international markets while preserving the Egyptian identity while contributing to opening up new fields of youth employment opportunities as a nucleus for small projects that generate economic returns on the individual and society. A qualitative study and practical experience has been carried out to produce some handicraft products in hand-knit fashion in a contemporary manner and to display these products to consumers in the local market

The Crusades campaigns were known as The Franks wars, which began in the late eleventh century to the beginning of the last decade of the thirteenth century A.D. (1096-1291). They were so named as they were religious campaigns whose participants waged the war under the banner of the Cross. They aimed to defend the Cross, the Christian symbol, to prevent the wrath of the Lord and to achieve their primary objective of controlling the Holy Land which was under the Islamic rule. The research begins with a historical introduction about the situation in the east and the circumstances of the Western European states at that time. It explains the motives of those political, religious, social and economic wars. It covers these campaigns from the first to the ninth Crusades. The search reviews the Crusader military architecture built or occupied by the Crusaders, which was one of the most important achievements of these campaigns such as strongholds, forts, towers and castles in Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Lebanon. The research also deals with the art of Western mural painting (Fresco and Mosaic) in, for example but not limited to, Cressac San Genis and San Giovanni Evangelista Churches. They demonstrate the history of the Crusades from the viewpoint of the Europeans which embodies the features of the Romanesque art style and then the Gothic art. The researcher selected some important books, manuscripts and miniatures which are the best evidence of recording those campaigns including the books of History of France, the manuscripts of Venice ,The Hugue and Manesso Codex, and miniatures of Lautrel Psalms, the Virgin's Chant , the Vices thesis and manuscript of Oversea history. The research problem: Are there special arts used to record, date and originate the events of the Crusades in Western Europe in the Middle Ages? Are there influence and impact between the arts of the West and East during that important era? The research aims: to study the history of the Crusades various arts from architecture, painting, sculpture and fashion as well as the factors impacting on them, effects of contemporary arts especially the arts of the East and to deduce the aesthetic values of these artworks. This research importance: it can make an addition to the Arabic library. Its topic has not taken sufficient study artistically as previous studies have been concerned only with history. Research Methodology: Historical descriptive analysis

The art of light has arisen in the arms of technology. The artist has eliminated the color by substituting the spectrum directly and using light as a material of formation to give (Three dimensional space forms), with Creative values and this is after discovering the formative capacity of the light, which is equal to the formative capacity of the traditional elements; It is a formative intermediary to achieve the concept of a total perceived concept as it has an expressive effect and has the ability to control the perception of the variable of the space depth in order to achieve the actual or fantasy movement and is a formative goal to achieve time in the stereoscopic work and how to cancel the mass. The researcher has interested here in focusing on that the light became now an artistic work in its own right. The artists of the era have used the light beams from the top of buildings and the photovoltaic works which depend on their movement either on a light source or on the motion of the viewer to change the concept of formative sculpture.

The Arabian regions exposed a cultural, social and ecological revolution, and olso the desert communities in Egypt, which changes many aspects of traditional life that have passed through its urban history. Urban development in many of egyption desert, specially in oasis community in Western desart, is not compatible with the surrounding environment, for many reasons, the most important are: transfering old valley patterns or other environments whose climate and characteristics differnt from those deserts, making it unsuitable for same urban development or design. Oases differ in importance and weight, whether historical, space or population, The historic of oases fluctuates from one oasis to another and its golden age is Pharaonic and Roman. This paper aim to develop a vision for the future urban development plan suitable for the culture of the target oases communities in Egyptian deserts with their application on Bahariya oases as it is the closest development areas to the governorates of nile valley.

With the development of modern technologies and the evolution of methods used by the designer and the advertiser for goods and services in an innovative way, new concepts have been developed for the applications and uses on the mental energy of the recipient in the interactive Advertising of that these mental energy, which is affected by many of the recipient's inputs in relation to the cognitive process through human senses that can be raised in a manner that stimulates this energy. Hence, we reach our discussion of the research problem, which can be summarized through our attempt to answer the following question: How to raise and change the mental energy of the recipient and how to measure them to increase the effectiveness of modern interactive advertising? Research objective Is to identify the modern possibilities that support the change and raise of the mental energy for the recipient to attract his attention and thought as long as possible to make the impact of the Advertising on the mind of the recipient. The research followed the analytical descriptive method Through an analytical study of an interactive advertising model Results and discussion The study concluded that: 1- Mental energy is the mental ability to perceive and translate the senses to produce an interaction and can be measured through their transformations and reflexes on behavior and mental processes in general. 2- The sensory characteristics of the product or service have a significant impact on the consumer's behavior and the sensory inputs are influenced by how the recipient feels, thinks, chooses and uses the products. The maximization and exaggeration of the sensory characteristics of the product or the creation of a new sensitivity condition is clearly influenced by how the recipient remembers the product and impression A mental picture on him. 3- That there are two specific parameters to measure the mental energy of the recipient in the interactive advertising environment have a set of variables that can be used, the first is to attract attention "excitement", and the second is process of interaction which can be described in all the variables involved in the interaction process which can be measured by modern Techniques and digital Recognition technologies. 4- The use of modern interactive techniques to change and raise the mental energy of the recipient is working to increase the effectiveness of interactive advertising. The present study examines a document of construction of an Ottoman house remaining in Cairo, namely that of the house of Mustafa Jaafar Elkabeer dating back to 1151 H. (1738 A.D.). This house is currently located to the left of the passerby El Darb El Asfar to Eljamalia. The study displays the text of the document, under investigation, in order to define the old location and the original status of Mustafa Jaafar house. Then, it looks for the original establisher and who was responsible for its renewal, i.e. Ismael Elmasabny. Furthermore, it corrects some opinions in literature and reveals the importance of the documents in studying the history of the houses’ construction. Additionally, it defines the house’s original status before renewal and reconstruction according to the document, under investigation. Accordingly, it reveals the errors of construction description in literature and the misunderstanding of the mortmain property document dating back to 1171 H. (1757 A.D.) in a previous study that examined a reconceptualization of the house, but it hadn’t defined the original form of the house. However, the researcher identified this based on the construction document, under investigation.

The motifs of architectural decoration are among the most important artistic symbols that contain characteristics and significances that have content and meaning in modern art. Contemporary artists made use of these units to decorate their works to create a cultural vision that stems from the Eastern societies. They did not consider them as a cultural heritage, but considered as their own art; especially in the works of Matisse, Paul Klee, Picasso and Mondrian. This contemporary art culture acquired by the pioneers of contemporary art is an innovation that carries inside itself the continuity through the time since its appearance in its essence, past, present and future. Therefore, these motifs are considered to be the most important elements of the art that must be studied analytical and aesthetically through the Egyptian heritage and transform it into a contemporary content that bears the characteristics of Egyptian Authenticity and Contemporary in an artistic expressionist vision. It is based on harmony, values, contrast, rhythm, balance, and proportionality, through which designs are innovated for tapestry printed fabrics to confirm the Egyptian identity among the currents of globalization. Research problem: - Despite the aesthetic diversity of architectural decorative units, it has not received sufficient study and research in the field of design, especially tapestry printed fabrics. Research Objective: - Emphasize the creation of new plastic solutions to design contemporary tapestry printed fabrics while maintaining the Egyptian identity and self-realization in the presence of cultural conflicts in the era of globalization, open skies and free trade.

The jeans trousers are considered the most important piece of clothing at all. It is suitable for all categories, ages, men, women, youth and children, which makes it very important in the manufacture and export of ready-made garments in Egypt. In recent years, the fashion philosophy of denim trousers has become the new jeans for the appearance and effects of the trousers used while keeping the new trousers. Due to the diminishing role of the Egyptian industry in designing jeans designs, this study was carried out with the aim of creating decorative designs to enhance the aesthetic value of denim trousers inspired by the Islamic heritage and decorations and in keeping with the international fashion and can be applied with laser engraving technology. In this context, three design groups have been proposed, including three models for denim trousers with the application of laser engraving technology in six different designs in terms of source and place of application. Each design group was judged by a group of specialists to develop a qualitative arrangement for the proposed groups, and the best designs with the highest order in each group were executed. Design 4 has the highest ranking in the first set and design number 9 has the highest ranking in the second set, while design number 13 has the highest ranking in the third set. The results have generally indicated a consensus on acceptance of the proposed designs that are consistent with the Egyptian society and environment. It is recommended that the questionnaire be applied to a large group of Egyptian girls before applying to the Egyptian market.

Spanish manuscripts are considered as the most important Spanish productions in the Middle Ages and especially in the thirteenth century AD, during the reign of King Alfonso X also Known as (The wise - El Sabio) , this is due to the fact that these manuscripts contain culture, arts and heritage that affected Europe in that period, it served as the bridge linking medieval Europe to Islamic culture and art in general and which was widespread in Spain during this period, this is thanks to the translation movement which interests the Spaniards After Alfonso VI founded The Toledo School of Translators in the city of Toledo in the twelfth century AD. The research begins with a historical introduction on the city of Toledo through its geographical location and its cultural and political role in the history of Christian Spain and after the Islamic request and until it was reclaimed by the Spaniards by King Alfonso VI in 1085 AD, the research also examines this important event, which is considered one of the most important events in Spanish history in the Middle Ages and an important turning point in the cultural and artistic movement after the founding of Alfonso VI of the School of Translators in Toledo, which was entrusted with the translation of the mother of Arabic books in various sciences into Latin, Toledo became a center of Islamic culture in Christian Spain and continued its cultural and artistic role during the reign of King Alfonso X, known as the 13th century. The research deals with the design and the technique used in the manufacture of Spanish manuscripts in the 13th century through the selection of the researcher of the manuscripts of The songs (Las Cantigas) and it contains about 2800 scenes in the form of images, and these manuscripts are exceptional pieces in Europe, and the images become models form and show us how to set up a special art school Especially for those images in terms of design and technical and explained to us the operational stages that passed, thanks to the fact that there is a manuscript of Florentine that has not yet been completed, we can document and define the operational stages of the manuscript, and we have reached this through studying and analyzing some of the pages of the manuscript, which contains images in unfinished stages and other stages in progress, we can also deduce the style and technique in the design and manufacture of these Spanish manuscripts in the 13th century, as well as the manuscript of the Games (Libro De Los Juegos) to know how they colored and painted those manuscripts. The Research Problem: Is there a role for the city of Toledo and the school of translators in the Spanish manuscripts manufacture in the Middle Ages? Is there a special art painting school for those Spanish manuscripts in the Middle Ages? Are there any advantages to these manuscripts in terms of design and technique used for the stages of implementation of the images? The Research Objectives: Studying and analyzing the stages of design and technique used in the manufacture of Spanish manuscripts in the 13th century. This research importance: The study can be in addition to the Arabic library, Its topic has not taken sufficient study artistically, since the previous studies concerned in the manuscripts of this period in terms of historical and cultural only.

Color Therapy is a complementary therapy dating back thousands of years to the ancient cultures of Egypt, China and India. The effects of color on our moods, health and way of thinking have been studied by scientists for years. Even an individual's preference for one color over another may be related to the way that color makes him feel. Colors are visible light energy of certain wavelengths. Photoreceptors in the retina , called cones, translate this energy into colors. The retina contains three kinds of cones: one for blue, one for green, and one for red. We perceive other colors by combining these colors. When the energy of color enters our bodies, it stimulates the pituitary and pineal glands. This in turn affects the production of certain hormones, which in turn affect a variety of physiological processes. This explains why color has been found to have such a direct influence on our thoughts, moods and behavior. Even blind people can sense color as a result of energy vibrations created within the body. Chakras are our body's energy centers. If these energy centers are out of balance, we may become ill or our emotions may be affected. Each color has a corresponding energy center and can be used to bring it back into balance. The current research aims to shed light on color therapy, clarify the colors associated with the chakras which are energy points of the body and therefore potentially powerful healing centers, and make use of that in ladies printed fabrics design- for the morning- and its glass accessories which enrich not only the fields of textile printing and glass in general but also women fabrics design and glass accessories in particular.

Several cities in Islamic countries had enjoyed by the affluence of aesthetic features. Islam as a religion had the ability to change the ideology of its adherents. Hence, the urban of the Muslims’ cities was massively influenced by the religious needs and the Islamic political power and it adopted the Islamic conceptions. Islamic jurisprudence had an important role to identify and modify both the individuals’ rights and duties in developing their cities. Different types of architecture buildings and decoration were implemented to function in the cities’ urbanism contexts. Though, a spiritual, unwritten agreement for the Islamic aesthetic conceptions, was framing the identity in these cities, and generating a consolidate identity for the image of these cities. However, the current image of the contemporary Islamic cities had been dramatically altered. The scene of many contemporary Arab cities represents substantial changes resulted from several reasons. The fact that the present meager of the city image, is lacking to the meaning of “image of the city”. The metamorphoses guise of the existing cities is a serious question, where is no clear genuine identity. Therefore, these massive changes would affect the social affiliations of the upcoming generations. Cities are always the most productive areas, where society members aim to find better jobs and wealth opportunities. Citizens are considered as a focal component that helps in draw the composition of the city’s image. However, they are struggling to survive inside this incommensurate image. The current paper is investigating the Islamic aesthetic approach, that had been implemented in both the architecture and decoration in Islamic cities. Subsequently, the paper will discuss the present image of cities in two different Arab, Islamic countries: Cairo and Doha. Since the paper argues that, although these cities are considered as Islamic cities, but each represents a different image for the city. The paper will discuss the different reasons and the outcomes for marginalizing the inherited and local identities on both; the cities’ scene and their users.

Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. This method based on observations and evaluations of a student’s development, which is a fundamental key of the Montessori Method. Color is one of the fundamental elements of art. It is important for art students to not only be exposed to color theory, but to understand it. By studying colors, students are able to embrace their own creativity and create their own masterpieces; one of the introductory art lessons is that of mixing colors and understanding the color wheel. The researcher chose this method to help beginning students grasp the concepts of color theory and color schemes to help them advance through the curriculum with new skills. Hence the research problem is to use general rules and concepts of Montessori to achieve a new method of color education to reform student’s knowledge, self-confidence, self-correction and their own abilities in using colors.

Light clothes represent a very important sector in textile industry, and in our practical life all across the year , that is they are worn in summer on their own , and in winter and other seasons as undergarments to keep us warmed . This study takes a special interest in the elements of weave construction of light clothes, and the effect of these elements on both natural and mechanical characteristics required for this type of cloth sustaining the same weight of the square meter . Fixed weight is achieved utilizing two variables; different counts of wefts, and different densities . That is accomplished by using the mathematical methodology of sustaining the weight of these counts using different densities . Another variable is added to the study which is the material of the weft used . Also, use the same type, material and density of the warp. So, the same specifications are used for all the samples . These specifications is 60/2 cotton, 32 thread/ cm.

Furniture design appeared due to the emergence of pre-historic communities with the first need to stability. Chairs are considered an essential element in interior design, and its design depends on its function, the space in which it will be placed, and to be in harmony with the surroundings. Some of the furniture units of various eras had been implemented in an aesthetic style and a great skill. They have returned to the artworks and deserved to occupy their distinctive place in the museums as artistic pieces. The problem of research lies in imitating some furniture designers of designs from previous civilizations without knowing the reasons for their appearance, and so it does not fit or correspond to the current era. Plus the lack of definition in some designers of the variety and creativity of chairs in different civilizations, which are the bases of the change in the design of chairs over time from the ancient Egyptian civilization up to the twentieth century. This paper aims to benefit from the aesthetic and functional values of chairs across different civilizations to enrich the design thought of the designers, by presenting the different chairs designs as an applied product as it is considered the cultural image that expresses the different ages. The methodology of this research is according to the historical method by presenting some of the varied designs of chairs across different civilizations. It is expected in this paper that shedding light on the creative methods of chairs designs and ornaments will positively reflect on the furniture designers and their creative ideas in particular and on society in general.

This paper aimed to study how to attract more attention to the digital images used on advertising posters, by applying the visual perceptual constancy. To achieve this goal, the study used the descriptive and experimental, methods to analyze the nature of visual perception and visual perceptual constancy. Then, experiments were designed to employ the perceptual constancy, which extends its influence to the ability to produce a digital image used in advertising poster, beyond the boundaries of the visually familiar. The results measured the audience' exposure time and analyzed it. They indicated that there was an increase in the audience’ exposure time when using perceptual constancy as the main design concept in the digital images on advertising posters, and they led to recommendations to expand the use of perceptual constancy in the digital image on advertising media to get more audience' attracting attention.
