Abstract

The purpose of this research paper is to shed light on artificial intelligence as one of the most prominent areas in the development of visual communication of external environments using environmental graphic design in the modern era. Artificial intelligence, creativity and innovation, environmental graphic design and visual communication of outdoor environments are all addressed. The design process in general and the design of visual communication as one of the most important design systems depends on the quality of the receiving audience in determining the appropriate design strategy for the target segment. Therefore, specialized design strategies resorted to the use of various digital technologies and artificial intelligence techniques to address those segments with a knowledge background to be targeted. Today, artificial intelligence technology has achieved tremendous achievements that have led to shortening the time factor and increasing the quality factor in the various stages of design, as a result of the use of software based on artificial intelligence and its various advanced programs, as well as as a result of human development that has expressed its desire to absorb this technology, so the matter is considered appropriate, acceptable, important and necessary. For design and visual communication. Hence, the research problem emerges from the rapid development of this software and entering into all the details related to visual design, which created the necessity to adopt design and visual communication on artificial intelligence applications in developing external environments as a step to keep pace with the development occurring at the level of professional practice. Accordingly, this research aims to explore the role of artificial intelligence in developing design and visual communication with application to external environments. To achieve this goal, the research was divided into three main axes, where the first axis concerned with the applications of artificial intelligence in the digital age, and the second axis dealt with the digital perspective of design and communication systems Visual The research ended with the third axis, which presented a proposed vision for the role of artificial intelligence in developing design and visual communication for external environments.
