An Interior Architecture Design for Tourist Facilities Between Art Deco and Ancient Egyptian Style

Architectural identity, where heritage, its continuity and the rooting of its value in the shadow of globalization are important matters. Therefore, the research aims to find solutions to confront the thought of globalization while keeping pace with developments in architectural design and interior architecture, with an emphasis on the Egyptian architectural identity. To achieve this goal, the research showed the impact of globalization on contemporary design thought and how it created similar design ideas all over the world, which led to the cancellation of the characteristics of the local architectural identity. The research also explained the impact of globalization on contemporary Egyptian architecture The research also showed that there are some local attempts that worked to preserve the environment and the Egyptian architectural identity, and at the same time achieved modernity and benefited from developments and technological development by reviving the architectural heritage and integrating heritage and modernity. The research concluded that since there are buildings in Egypt that work to preserve the Egyptian architectural identity and at the same time use modern technology, we must return to the architectural heritage and respect the Egyptian architectural identity while benefiting from technological development Creativity is when a person starts from new, unprecedented starting points as a reaction to life’s problems. Creativity is also known as a kind of reformulation through the use of previous elements and employing them in a new way, i.e. adapting the past and employing it to confront the present. Heritage is a major and important element in architecture. The difference between the Egyptian creator and others is that we enjoy the presence of an inspiring balance, which is the ancient Egyptian heritage. We have the right to return to this great historical era, contemplate it, benefit from it, and remain through it through creative design treatment, not superficial one Through this research thesis, we try to extract the most prominent principles and foundations of ancient Egyptian architecture, which can be used in our contemporary designs.
