An Arab View of Derouche's Book: The Arabic Manuscript in Light of the Inscriptions Through the Arabic translation version issued by the Arabic Manuscripts Institute in 1437 AH / 2016 CE
The research deals with the response to a part of the book of the French scientist Francois Deroch, which was issued by the Islamic Thesaurus Association, and the Arab Manuscripts Institute, a book by the French scientist François Derouche entitled: (The Manuscript Arabic Book).the book of God, the second is entitled: Men and Books, the third is entitled: Moroccan privacy, and the fourth is entitled: Gold Leaves and Petals of Flowers, and the book concludes with a list of Arab and foreign sources and references.
In this section, the researcher dealt with the response to Dyrosh's attempt to compare the Noble Qur’an and other divine books and the method of transmitting the Qur’an, which he likened to the transmission of pre-Islamic poetry. Then, Deroush touched upon describing the first Arabic writing and collecting the Qur’an and mentioned that there were shortcomings in Arabic calligraphy in the beginning even though that was a natural development of the Arabic script. Then Deroush claims the lack of idealism in the collection of the Qur’an during the reign of Othman bin Affan. He also addressed the addition of al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf al-Thaqafi to letters in the Noble Qur’an, and Derush also attributed the gilding of the Qur’an to other civilizations, and he also deals with the breaks of verses and suras.
The researcher has responded to all those opinions that Derouche mentioned in his book, in this first part of the research which ended with the verses and surah breaks. The researcher has strengthened his responses with appropriate paintings on the topic, and they are all related to Islamic inscriptions and Arabic calligraphy
