Education strategies and virtual reality simulations in light of the Corona pandemic (Case study on Exhibition Design Course in Faculty of Architectural Engineering and Digital Design, Dar Al Uloom University)

Abstract

E learning is one of the models of distance education, and the most important one at the present time of the Corona pandemic, through which it provides the delivery of information to the learner anywhere and at any time, and allows interaction with the teacher, content, and students through the courses provided by the e-learning system. Virtual Reality, Conversation, and Simulation It provides a multi-resource interactive learning environment.
"The rapid spread of diseases in Corona pandemic has accelerated the adoption by universities، companies، and educational institutions of modern alternatives to the traditional teaching methods used in the classroom، which led to the emergence of a wide range of online courses، as the combination of technology and education produced a number of teaching and learning methods. And whoever contemplates the image that education has become today finds that it has radically changed from the recent world of yesterday, and will continue to change with the continuation of the Corona pandemic, because the future education system is no longer seen as a learner as a repository of information as it was in the recent past. The research problem is summarized in the following questions: How to use virtual reality simulations in an interactive educational environment to solve problems that encounter students in the Corona pandemic. and to what extent does the design of virtual exhibitions contribute to enhancing the educational content and completing the learning outcomes due to the difficulty of implementing actual exhibitions in the Corona pandemic, and the importance of research lies in the role of virtual e-learning in addressing the Corona pandemic by expanding students' perceptions that allows a degree of freedom that allows modification of the design through To the largest amount of design solutions that contribute to the production of virtual exhibitions despite the presence of challenges, and the research aims to use different educational strategies in developing interactive educational content in a way that helps students complete what is difficult to achieve on the ground.
