The pursuit of happiness is valued as a human right. Happiness should be appreciated as an ongoing process itself and as a life resource (Diener & BiswasDiener, 2008).the quality of life for individual is directly affected by the quality of their working life, which in turn is influenced by the quality of the work environment, where the employee spends many hours of a day in the traditional workplaces that are designed for one goal which is productivity. But now office design has become more holistic and centered around the employee himself to foster happiness, luxury, and loyalty in the work environment, ex. traditional offices foster formal cultures, while informal offices designed for happiness foster open cultures, relaxed, open-minded and value for employee wellbeing, they include health of mind, body, and lead to productive participant and healthy employees. As a result of an ongoing transformation in living and working patterns due to rapid technological advances, as working hours extended to become throughout the day which require to design and develop workplaces that provide happiness and ensure the comfort and loyalty of employees, hence the importance of research to achieve the positive goals of design, which is The employee’s sense of belonging, safety, value, unity and loyalty in workplace. The research aims to apply human-centered design for happiness principles to achieve a better quality of life. The role of the interior designer is to provide a contribution to enhance the employee's capabilities for happiness in the working environment to be reflected in life, due to the impact of the interior environment on the physical and mental activity. The research follows the descriptive approach by gathering information to build the theoretical framework based on literature review and an analytical study for "Mountain View" Egypt model. The researcher concludes that in order to achieve a better quality of life for employees, a healthy and lively environment must be designed to increase focus, productivity and reduce stress.
