Abstract

Visual art is a unique field as it has a capability to educating the society in diversity perspectives. The two dimension and three-dimension art activities offer difference art experiences, artistic skills, creative impact and critical thinking as it requires different task and senses, during this activity especially children, Children’s consumer behavior is a field that has lately been given attention by marketing, psychology, sociology, and pedagogy. The reason is the understanding that a child is an important part that has an influence on family’s shopping. especially his interactions with the art and how can convert his beloved activity work to fashion design, so we choose in these research origami arts which is an art of paper folding, which is associated with Japanese culture. In modern usage, the word "origami" is used as an inclusive term for all folding practices, regardless of their culture of origin. The goal is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting technique without the usage of cuts, glue, or markings on the paper. This ancient art has drawn the attention of fashion designers for the beauty and originality of this art. Where Fashion designers are always looking for new trends and techniques that can be applied to clothing in general and children's wear in particular, Therefore, this research focuses on how to take advantage of some origami techniques that represent an ancient culture in two parts, namely, taking advantage of the artistic emotions of children in using origami as a beloved activity to their heart and employing their origami artwork to design clothes suitable for the age group 4-10 years. Where more than 20 origami shapes were implemented with colored paper by children, and their work was inspired by seven clothing designs for the same children. in addition to making a photo session with the children's origami work
