Abstract

Abstract
The movement is considered as a form of ceramic formation, which extended in time as it did in place, that is because it demonstrates the ability to express freely when distributing the elements of formation in new dimensions. That is, it is the language in which the artist expresses his/her awareness of the reality of the space and the potential of its plastic vocabularies. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rich Diverse in the field of ceramics heritage, in the range of its different administrative regions, and it is clear that the ceramic heritage of Saudi Arabia indicates actual, tangible evidence of ancestral wisdom. So ceramics is an innovative process that seeks to achieve specific purposes that satisfy the human needs, whether it is material through the realization of the output for specific material functions, or this purpose is intangible that is related to expression and satisfies the human senses, or combines the two purposes of utilitarian and aesthetic together.
The research aims to study the analysis of theoretical frameworks for the concepts of movement and their relationship to scientific theories, actual movement, interactive movement, discretionary movement and illusory movement in contemporary ceramics.
The research deals with the study of a set of important points related to the research topic, namely: a study of ceramics of some trends expressing movement in modern art. The research also dealt with movement and rhythm in modern and contemporary arts.
The research concluded an important result, which is: The movement is an important source of ceramic formations through the combination of traditional plastic forming elements with new elements in ceramic formation.
The research also found the value of the movement formally and its realization through time as a fourth dimension in contemporary ceramics.
