Abstract

E-learning is a new type of learning types imposed by the practical and technological developments that the world has witnessed today, and it is an educational system that uses information technologies and the computer network and supports the scope of the educational process and extends it through a range of media, computers, the Internet and electronic programs, The designers of these e-learning platforms of various types and forms and its multi-media digital contents and outputs need to the full awareness of the importance and value of graphic design for such communication types in order to support and enhance the educational process and complete it to the fullest, as graphic designers use different techniques and principles using multiple design elements to create focal points that draw the attention of the recipient or the student and make him more attractive For digital content and then preserving the academic achievement process, or by saying another, the communication process is fully achieved.
The research deals with the set of elements and rules that the designer uses to improve the design of electronic platforms and their digital content, shedding light on the concept of grid system for digital platforms and its role in organizing graphic elements, explaining this by studying the different types of grids and multiple planning patterns and their relationship with the technology of responsive designs, in addition to studying the types of The symbols and signs used in the design of the platforms and their role in facilitating the transitions between the different specializations of the platform.
The research also deals with the importance of color in the design of educational platforms and their digital content, by studying the connotations of colors and their symbolism, and the effect of enhancing color psychology on the effectiveness of educational design, with the study of colors that help in the learning process about other colors that lead to dispersal through the educational process. The research also sheds light on the ways of employing color to direct students' attention towards important content elements, and the possibilities of using color to improve the readability of texts within the design of the electronic platform, with mentioning the most important foundations that help the designer to choose a color group suitable for digital content, platform content and specialization
