Abstract

Sššt.. Its name in Egyptian hieroglyphs is Sšm and Sššt.. Sššt is a simpler type with an oval ring, while seshesh is a sarcophagus-shaped type.
The sistrum was a sacred tool in ancient Egypt, and its first appearance was monitored in the era of the ancient Egyptian kingdom. It was closely related to ritual rites in honor of Isis, as the goddess Isis was depicted in her role as mother and creator carrying a bucket symbolizing the flood of the Nile on one side and the sistrum on the other. The sistrum was used in various religious dances and ceremonies, especially in the cult of the goddess Hathor, where the tool's frame and handle are seen as similar to the horns and face of the goddess Hathor. The sistrum was used on some occasions to avoid the flooding of the Nile and to frighten Set. Bastet is also often depicted holding a sistrum, symbolizing her role as the goddess of joy, dance and celebration.
The researcher talked about a golden sistrum for the goddess Hathor, and the sistrum is a device that emits sounds that were used in rituals held in temples, especially those rites related to the goddess Hathor.
He added that this sistrum played a major role in satisfying "Hathor", as Hathor was one of the most revered deities of the ancient Egyptians, and its reverence was linked to other manifestations, including "Sistrum music in English: Sistrum is a musical instrument belonging to the family of percussion instruments and culturally linked mainly to the country of Egypt ancient and ancient greece. It is often depicted in the visual arts such as sculpture and pottery. It consists of a handle and a U-shaped metal frame made of copper or bronze with a width of 30 to 76 cm, interspersed with metal beams that can be moved, and on these beams there are small rings of thin metal.
