Combining the art of textile printing and applique art to produce designs suitable for children's clothing

Abstract

The art of applique is one of the folk arts and legacies left to us by our ancestors over the years. The present research is concerned with reviving this ancient art and integrating it with the art of printing textiles for unconventional designs printed on children's clothes The pastes used in the printing of these designs are pigment, glitter and flock, Each of these pastes have special installation and printing method, And also differ from each other in the method of installation in terms of time and temperature, as shown by the research and the designs were printed using the silk screen and in the case of printing flok Silk screen is used to print the adhesive and then use the Flok in the application of color on them The current research attempts to deal with different printing presses and the methods used to apply thepastes on it.
