Fauvism and cubism schools as a source of innovation for textile accessories design

Abstract

The artistic school is considered one of the most inspirational sources to designers for its efficiency in intellectual, social and economic life. Designing textile accessories is a plan that is created by the designer to create a new line that complies with these schools and modern trends. This research consists of a study of fauvism and cubism schools to set a new innovate designs for textile accessories depending on the descriptive and functional approach. The findings of this reveal a possibility of fulfilling artistic and aesthetic values that appeared in constructional lines and colors that were inspired by fauvism and cubism schools.
