Innovative methods for the design and application of the glass surface appearance utilizing of visual art techniques

Abstract

The art field had lot of progress, diversity and prosperity, the methods of design or applying of the various traditional techniques to the appearance of the glass surface have not absorbed the aesthetics of diversity in visual art and the methods of its various applications. This for varying degrees of difficulty in applying different types of colorants in more innovative ways, while adapting them to the chosen design on the glass surface.
The problem of research was identified by: the need to take advantage of the variety of visual art techniques as one of the most important sources to design and apply colorants on the glass surface. The objective of the research is: Achieve scientific and artistic foundations for a set of innovative methods in the design and application of the glass surface appearance. The importance of the research: The research contributes to increasing the effectiveness of the design of the glass surface appearance in relation to the methods of application, thus contributing to the value of its various products for works of artistic, industrial or architectural nature. The study assumes that by studying the aesthetics, methods and techniques of visual art and the use of its various possibilities, a variety of new methods can be developed as an effective model for the design and application of colorants on the glass surface. Research is determined in: Studying of aesthetics and methods of visual art (with emphasis on painting trends and painting with pastel oils and water colors) in order to develop a set of design methods and application of the glass surface appearance.
 A number of results were achieved, including:
- An exploratory study of the trends of drawing and coloring with pastels and water colors was established in relation to the design and application on the glass surface and the means of its implementation.
- Identify a range of innovative methods of design and application on the glass surface.
- Focusing on some innovative methods due to their importance in applying to the diverse products of works of artistic, industrial or architectural nature.
- Studying the effect and value of the methods developed in relation to the design and mechanisms of application on the glass surface appearance.
