The role of Digital Art in Mural Painting at Italian Metro Stations

Abstract

Digital art is a term that involves artistic practices that use digital technology since 1970; many names have been used for prescription, with digital technology affecting different branches of visual arts. This has allowed contemporary artists great free to produce artwork that was not easily imagined in the past in traditional art fields. The mural experiments associated with the global subway architecture are among the richest in modern- art experiments. Many of the stations are characterized by the prevalence of modern scientific thought in architectural design and contemporary mural designs. Use of modern and unconventional And the use of modern and non-traditional materials and techniques in the design and implementation of art work techniques such as printing on a variety of surfaces and the use of industrial lighting appropriate to show the artwork properly.
The problem can be identified: The absence of previous studies on architecture and contemporary murals based on digital art in the Italian subway stations, through this presentation of technology, design and technical style, these experiences can be used in planning the dissemination of digital technology in the future phases of the metro project in Egypt, in harmony with the conditions of the cultural, heritage and civilization environment of the Egyptian society.
The importance of research: Emphasis on the importance of using modern technology in the artworks of the metro stations through a study of models implemented by the Italian metro stations, Where the need to take advantage of the prevalence of scientific thought, technical in the architectural and murals of the metro stations to achieve the value utilitarian and aesthetic these contemporary facilities as art museums open to the public.
