Abstract

The ancient Egyptian art is a rich and variable art characterized by lofty, splendid appearance and majesty of expression. This is evident through its lines, shapes and harmonious relationships, which enrich the designer’s task with a sense of features, sensory relationships, balance and beauty by presenting a contemporary vision of making a harmonious relationship of innovative typographic designs harmonious between the artistic trends of furniture models The French, which contains aesthetic values (rhythm - balance - proportionality ... and others), and furnishing fabrics of an authentic ancient Egyptian nature because of the aesthetics of plastic elements and its units (rhythm - balance - unity - simplification and flatness - exaggeration and aesthetic distortion - and color... .and others) to give furniture design contemporary aesthetic values.Furnishing fabrics are an integral part of the artistic trends of furniture models, as they play the main and essential role in creating harmony and chromatic and formal harmony. The aesthetic vision addressed in this research to study the relationship between the design of printed furnishing fabrics through the use of elements and vocabulary of the ancient Egyptian heritage with an authentic character and furniture design and how each of them affects the other to reach products that achieve the desired utilitarian function while reaching the maximum levels of beauty at the same time By applying a descriptive and analytical approach to the plastic elements and artistic units of the ancient Egyptian heritage ,And an applied experimental approach that depends on addressing the innovative and experimental aspect of typographic designs in proportion to the Egyptian taste, and using the art of Ardeco Art Deco as a model in its essence, the geometric and free decoration, the vibrant colors and the advanced materials through the decorative vocabulary, and invoking many innovative forms, which suggests the designer to create many of print designs.
