Abstract

The foundations of Islamic Art architecture was based on the associated with philosophical principles that directly linked to faith, in a constant striving to achieve balance, integration and harmony between man and other in the cosmic system in accordance with the principles of Islam, where the Islamic artistic creativity in its broadest sense, is the artist's attempt to express aesthetic expression in the context of faith .
Ergonomics appeared to confirm that the human needs of safety and work must be efficiently included in the design of work systems to achieve better interaction between man and his surrounding physical environment. Man is the most important goal of design focus, the same as the goal of Islamic Art architecture, which has been associated closely linked to man and the interests of his rights , needs , social and psychological in nature, with the ability to interact with the environment
On this basis, we can determine the problem in the need to identify the core values of the ergonomics philosophy and how to employ it in the development of modern metal facades in Islamic architecture as inferred architecture of the faith designed for the convenience of human.
The research aims to explore ways to take advantage of Ergonomics thought and Islamic architecture philosophy in the development of modern metal facades. The research found a number of results, including: the integration of environmental regulations and Ergonomics thought in Islamic architecture has contributed to creating Ergonomics solutions that flexible configuration , functional efficiency and has a streamlined dynamic forms compatible with the environmental characteristics, the use of modern metal materials, it helped to get out of the traditional framework in metal interfaces to provide multiple functional and aesthetic solutions based on Islamic ergonomics thought.
