Abstract

God has honored the sons of Adam with all the faculties of honoring, with the knowledge and the mind that God has distinguished from the rest of creatures. The absence of the power of mental cognition causes imbalance in human communication in society. He can not coexist in an integrated manner with the surrounding society. Different from what is offered to ordinary people in all respects. Given the limited capacity of the mentally disabled child and the difficulty in understanding and interacting with the surrounding assets properly, a spatial environment with standards that accommodate this deficiency and match the problems resulting from it must be provided by strengthening the environment with designs appropriate to their nature. the problem of research, which focuses on the lack of environmental designs for mentally handicapped children the problems of students and specialists in some schools of intellectual education were reviewed. It was noted that some of the complaints were repeated. The focus was on certain points that should be observed in the design such as color and lighting and also help some implementation materials to reduce the severity of some voices. Through the study of the nature of these children and friction in the schools of intellectual education and with the help of teachers and social supervisors, the researcher did some design models that it considers appropriate to the situation of these children.
