Abstract

God has granted the honor of the Holly Mosque in Mecca to be the first house that was built to the worship of God and it is characterized to perform Tawaf circumambulating and seek between Safa and Marwa in the rituals of Umrah (pilgrimage) or Hajj and it was gifted Ka’aba, which was unique privilege of being the only direction for Muslims after turning direction.
The design of the Contemporary Great or small mosques is considered to be one of the important topics that always need to keep peace with scientific advances in the field of providing convenience to the user in terms of proper ventilation, good lightening , provide calm, allowing the opportunity to humble inside the mosque beside that  meeting the functional needs of the user inside the mosque and also saving some symbol of the features that confirms the role of being a dedicated worship for Muslims.
It was reached in the research that Interior Design and Furniture Design of the Holly Mosque as the largest major mosque in the world had the first group of the rolling values that recommended such as symbolic, functional ​​and aesthetic values ​​ which qualify it to be the first reference of world that could be a guide in Interior and Furniture Design of Contemporary Mosques.
