Designing Clothes Providing Comfort Requirements for Children with Cerebral Palsy

Abstract

This research investigates the creation of clothing designs that meet the comfort requirements of children with cerebral palsy selected material used for those designs were tested for their physical properties, and providing design solutions for clothes that facilitate wearing, dressing up and the implementation of some designs for boys and girls. The most important results of the research:  
Fabrics used in the implementation of designs provide comfort for the child with cerebral palsy. Design solutions in the designs meet the comfort requirements of children with cerebral palsy at the age of 9-12 years in terms of wearing, dressing up and functional activity. The designs implemented have achieved the aesthetic appearance of children with cerebral palsy.
