Muslims and Christians as an example of peaceful coexistence in Andalusia

Abstract

The study deals with the peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians under the rule of the Islamic State in Andalusia. We try to highlight the situation of the Christians in terms of rights and duties in all aspects of coexistence between the two largest components of Andalusian society.
       In the year 1992 AH / AD 711 AD, and until the fall of Andalusia, the fall of the last Islamic cities of Granada in 897 AH / In 1492, the largest component of the Andalusian Muslim society was Muslims and then Christians, in terms of number and influence in society, followed by other sects such as Jews and others, meaning the Christians, that lived under the Islamic state in Andalusia after the Islamic conquests.
