Abstract

The Arabian regions exposed a cultural, social and ecological revolution, and olso the desert communities in Egypt, which changes many aspects of traditional life that have passed through its urban history.
Urban development in many of egyption desert,  specially in oasis community in Western desart, is not compatible with the surrounding environment, for many reasons, the most important are: transfering old valley patterns or other environments whose climate and characteristics differnt from those deserts, making it unsuitable for same urban development or design. Oases differ in importance and weight, whether historical, space or population, The historic of oases fluctuates from one oasis to another and its golden age is Pharaonic and Roman.
This paper aim to develop a vision for the future urban development plan suitable for the culture of the target oases communities in Egyptian deserts with their application on  Bahariya oases as it is the closest development areas to the governorates of nile valley.
