The Philosophical and formation Dimensions of Reductionist Art As a Source of Inspiration for Innovative Ceramic Shapes for Art Education Students

Abstract

Research Summary :
Reductionist art contains many aesthetic and artistic values, expressive and symbolic, and despite the simplicity of reductionist art, it is considered a revolution against the classical style in plastic art. In building ceramic work, the research problem lies in: To what extent can the philosophical and plastic dimensions of reductionist art be used in teaching ceramic formation skills and producing innovative ceramic works inspired by it among art education students. The research assumes that there is a positive relationship between the possibility of benefiting from the philosophical and plastic dimensions of reductionist art and providing art education students with ceramic formation skills to produce innovative ceramic shapes. The research aims to teach students innovation skills in ceramic formation inspired by the reductionist art.
In order to achieve this, the researcher took the following actions: Activating the field benefit from what was reached in the theoretical aspect, through a technical meeting that depends on a set of skills to be imparted to students, in order to produce innovative ceramic shapes inspired by the philosophical and plastic dimensions of reductionist art. The research experiment was applied to a group of Fourth year students - Faculty of Specific Education - Menoufia University, numbering twenty (twenty) students, in the first semester of the university year (202-2022), and it took five weeks to study and apply, five interviews twenty hours, one meeting per week of four hours, and the results of the research are summarized in: The possibility of benefiting from the philosophical and plastic dimensions of reductionist art in teaching ceramics among art education students, and providing students with research and analysis skills for the parts of ceramic shapes derived from the characteristics of reductionist art.
