Abstract

Abstract
The architectural heritage represents the civilizational identity of any country, reflecting the extent to which people think about how their buildings work and thus functional solutions to the building in terms of composition, environment, society, and culture, where we can inspire, develop and apply these ideas and solutions in a harmonious and compatible manner to contemporary architecture. In the Sudan, the city of Khartoum takes the greatest interest as the capital city on which colonial architecture arose.
The problem is how to make use of the application of environmental solutions to the architectural heritage colonial, in contemporary architecture in a way that serves and fits the functional purposes of the building.
The aim of the study is to take advantage of the pros and cons of the clonal architectural heritage of environmental ideas and solutions in contemporary architecture.
