Historical Jeddah (Being and Time) An artistic philosophical vision

The being from Heidegger point of view is the living being from one side and its essence from another side. Time is an unstoppable movement towards the future. The idea of Historical Jeddah and its connection to being and time crossed my mind as it resembles what Heidegger meant in his book (Being and Time), “it is linked to three forms which are the past, and in addition there are the future and the present”. The historical region is located in the middle of Jeddah, and historically it goes back to the pre-Islamic era. In 21st of May -2019 AD. a royal order by Mohamed bin Salman to support a project for developing the historical area, through restoration of 56 collapsing buildings.
The research problem: can we link historical Jeddah to the philosophy of being and time, and benefit from the results of this study in supporting national projects? Hypothesis: we can demonstrate the historical area and explain its phenomenon by linking it to the problem of being and time to benefit from the results in supporting its projects.
Most important goals: to link between the historical region to the problem of being and time with demonstration of the philosophical dimension of the details of the area.
The importance is: highlight the significance of historical Jeddah for those who are interested in history and art, and the connection of the area to the cause of being and time and its forms.
The study axis: the artistic, philosophical vision of the cause of being and time and the possibility of linking it to analysis and explanation of the appearances of the area.
The results: the historical area is a rich subject to be studied from intellectual, philosophical, and artistic aspects, which have given it deeper roots to the past and allowed brighter and more prosperous future and present.
Recommendations: support the development of the area and displaying a different artistic and philosophical dimension.
Finally: from the womb of death a life is born, the being of historical Jeddah and what had happened and what it has become, it was found to be genuine, and across the ages, it still carries its originality.
The importance is: highlight the significance of historical Jeddah for those who are interested in history and art, and the connection of the area to the cause of being and time and its forms.
