Abstract

Architecture is a rich heritage with sources of inspiration and spiritual and aesthetic arts. An example of this is the architecture of the Arab-Islamic civilization, which had an impression of creativity that influenced contemporary architecture and was influenced by the architecture of previous civilizations. It was the mirror that reflects the strength, accuracy, craftsmanship and beauty of the architectural product and elements.
The architectural Islamic civilization was built on civilizations that preceded it, such as the Byzantine civilization, which had reached a remarkable development in its time.
The "dome" is one of the most significant and important architectural elements that influenced Islamic architecture and in turn affected many religious buildings or palaces, and this research will shed light on how Islamic architecture was affected by architecture by domes and how, in turn, it also affected the architecture of later and contemporary civilizations by using the Muqarnas technique.
I will present in my study how these domes can have an impact to a large extent on the architectural and aesthetic heritage of them in the succession of civilizations to show the inspiration and influence on the arts in those eras and the importance of domes, their heritage and aesthetics, the greatest impact on preserving heritage from extinction, and how to keep pace with architectural techniques, decoration and raw materials, taking into account the political, environmental and economic factors in the succession of eras and civilizations.

Because there is no study, within the limits of the researcher’s knowledge, linking the meaning of influence and influence in the arts of Islamic dome architecture with previous civilizations, “Art appeared in the Islamic world distinguished by a unity that prevailed in its production, no matter how many countries, different races, and ages diverged.” Domes are also now used as an aesthetic element only, not taken Taking into account the philosophical and symbolic thought of it from the perspective of religious beliefs, which had the greatest impact on the design and shape of the dome throughout the ages and civilizations.
