Abstract

The importance of the study is to highlight the role and importance of activating interdisciplinary studies in order to improve joint scientific research between different universities and acquire more scientific, academic and research skills. With the The flourishing of the visual arts in the contemporary era and its fields has gone beyond new dimensions, affected by the transformations the world is witnessing, and one of these developments is the clear interest in visual arts and the establishment of specialized bodies in arts, heritage and culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the promotion of artistic heritage is what distinguishes different civilizations and countries from each other, because it exists Given the social, political, geographical, and historical conditions that surround it, each country has its own technical characteristics. Therefore, this study also aims to highlight all this with the techniques of artistic printing, which are still renewed and developed in the Saudi society, and which enable the artist to be creative and unique. With the scarcity of Saudi artists in the field of artistic printing and the provision of innovative experiences and ideas for the Al-Ula region to achieve the goals of the lofty vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.

The problem of the research: There are many artistic printing techniques, which have earned them many possibilities, uniqueness and innovation attested to them throughout the history of art schools in different eras, and despite that they are still renewed and developed in the Saudi society, and accordingly it became an obligation and a duty for the two researchers in this inter-study to highlight, publish and support this new art in Saudi society. To enhance the Saudi identity in a specific place or project, which is the Al-Ula region, by exploiting artistic printing techniques through a descriptive and experimental approach.
