Abstract

This summary reviews the general features and conclusions obtained from this research paper entitled "Ergonomics of Wearable Technologies". The research is about wearable technologies, which are considered to be result of successive technological developments in all fields of life.
Wearable technologies consists of devices that are integrated into daily life, are actually worn and considered as an integration of technology with the usual accessories for individuals to facilitate their lives, save their time and effort, and have multiple applications including medical applications, entertainment, leisure.. etc,
Many of these technologies have been innovated in many and different fields, but most of them had focused on achieving individual solutions for specific individuals or situations, In addition, human beings and ergonomic aspects of these technologies have often been neglected, which caused low acceptance level by users.
This research aims to develop the design of wearable technologies, addressing associated problems according to some of ergonomics considerations applied in the design of these technologies to meet different user needs  , and applies principle of Human Centered Design and achieve comfort, ease of use and wearability, and more effective interaction in various work places to the wearer.
This research offered some ergonomic considerations to design Wearable Technologies from industrial design perspective so as to achieve principle of Human Centered Design and provides ease of use, wear , and more effective interaction in various work places.
