Utilizing the Aesthetic Values of the Heritage Symbols in Siwa in Printed Hangings Design for Tourism Development Textile

Abstract

Tourism is of the most important growth industries in the world , and it is the interest of countries to achieve economic and social benefits by stimulating the best investment for infrastructure and natural resources, heritage and environmental and cultural, It also works to achieve communication between peoples and interest in cultural heritage, and also to learn more about the cultural and human values and patriotism.Tourism development is one of the various ways to achieve economic and social development in the country, making it a goal itself.Tourism development is generally dependent on tourism areas that are unique in culture and nature. Siwa Oasis is characterized by its unique tourism features and unique ecological diversity rich in ecological symbols with aesthetic values. Siwa is one of the oldest communities in Egypt, with a geographic location that has made it relatively isolated from the surrounding communities since ancient times.This has had the most impact on the Siwa community, with a strong identity that is manifested in all elements of life, whether in the style of housing, clothing, Tools and products produced by the local community. Hence, the research problem can be summed up in the following question: How can the environmental symbols of Siwa Oasis be utilized in the creation of printed textile hangings and tourist advertisements that support the development of tourism in Siwa? The aim of this research is to study the Egyptian environment in Siwa Oasis (geographically, historically, aesthetic)As well as to study the aesthetic and structural values of the heritage and environmental symbols in Siwa and to use them in creating innovative designs that support tourism by employing them as printed textile hangings in tourist places such as hotels and tourist resorts, as printed advertisements in public places and tourist sanctuary.The importance of research to confirm the environmental and heritage symbols of Siwa values of aesthetic and formative have a role in enriching and supporting the development of tourism in the region by following a historical approach, analytical, descriptive of the symbols of heritage and environment, and an applied technical approach to create innovative designs that emphasize the distinctive identity of Siwa and support its tourism development as well as its use as a virtual reality in tourist spaces.The analytical and applied studies have shown that the technical and analytical study of the environmental symbols in Siwa and its values and aesthetic is an important source that creates designs can be used to support tourism development ,emphasize the importance of community participation in preserving heritage and confirming identity.The researchers were also able to use the derived and inspired by the study of environmental symbols in Siwa combining the originality and modernity, Which gives the tourist places a unique character of our identity.
