Abstract

The second half of the twentieth century witnessed many changes related to the first and second world wars, which led to the change of many intellectual and artistic concepts, as an unusual rush appeared behind everything new and strange, and the rebellion became against putting most of the inherited rules and traditions aside, and the artist rebelled against fixed and classic templates. for art, which led to the emergence of multiple artistic trends, each with its own style and philosophy, which contributed to the multiplicity of unfamiliar artistic visions in art, so (kinetic art) appeared by a group of artists. Since the movement was still an illusory element in the sculptural work, however, it witnessed the greatest transformation in its concept within the sculptural work, when it moved from an illusory movement to an actual movement, so the artwork became already animated, not only seeking movement but also achieving it as a reality, The art of kinetic sculpture became one of the most important aspects of sculptural creations, and the sculptor was able to employ the movement according to his vision and the multiplicity of its concepts, as he was able to reveal the dimensions of the movement and its multiple capabilities with their expressive values. And in light of the technological trend in all fields, it was natural for the artist to discover the possibility of using technological processes and their results in three-dimensional works using electronic media and technologies in order to reach a kind of intellectual work to employ art and achieve its creative ideas.



There is no doubt that the artists’ attention to the necessity of mixing technology with art has added a lot to the art of sculpture, especially after the progress in it in terms of creating raw materials that were not exploited led to the need to work on encouraging innovation, and this undoubtedly contributed to the creative process.



The development of movement in sculptural work has helped many of those interested in studying the different types of movement that the sculptor exploited in the diversity of sculptural works, each according to the method of moving them.
