Abstract

Stereotypical thinking is not defective, and it is a state of important and essential thinking that we need in many aspects of the design process. The designer follows stereotypical thinking to identify design determinants, and follows it to make decisions to solve a design problem, and follows stereotypical thinking to present a solution to a creative problem.

While creative thinking is must be defined and precisely. Creative thinking is a multifaceted phenomenon, rather than a single-defined theoretical concept, due to the fact that the cognitive mental processes used in creativity are of a high degree of novelty, complexity and fluency, by using brain storming and Synectics which makes them essential in the stages of identifying weaknesses and shortcomings in a design, and using it in generating Creative ideas to solve a design problem.

The process of creative thinking in design is based on the principle that there is a need (the need for the new design is negated if the old design has better functional performance, meaning that the design is a development process from one state to a better state at all levels). The entire design process is based on a series of steps whose structure leads to the result of creative thinking and reaching a solution to the design problem to be studied.

The exchange and overlap between modularity and creativity result in an integrated design and intellectual situation and carefully studied design decisions.

The design processes are not all on one level, and their output can be classified into initial design, Stereotype design, innovative design and creative design according to special determinants. Whenever the variables are new, new patterns result, thus expanding the circle of possible designs, and a new design is produced that is not related to what preceded it, ie it becomes more creative.
