Research Abstract :

Although Fatimid metal antiques (ornaments, clothing accessories, and adornment) were distinguished by aesthetic values and many formative dimensions, there is a dearth of appreciations studies that dealt with aesthetic values and formative dimensions of Fatimid metal antiques (ornaments, clothing accessories, and adornment), and also did not receive sufficient attention in those studies. It has not yet been benefited from aesthetic values and formative dimensions in selections of Fatimid metal antiques (ornaments, clothing accessories, and adornment) to develop art appreciation and create contemporary metalworks.

From here the researchers try to benefit from the essence of the aesthetic values and formative dimensions of the content of the surfaces of selections of fatimid metal antiques (ornaments, clothing accessories and adornment),based on critical and experimental study in selections of fatimid metal antiques (ornaments, clothing accessories and adornment) in Egypt and the Levant based on a description And an analysis (the formal appearance, structural systems, characteristics, technical methods and industrial methods for each of them and to benefit from their various decorative elements and their symbolic significance for those bodies) to highlight them in contemporary metal formulations and to achieve the intellectual and educational dimensions advocated by the fields of art education in general and the areas of artistic appreciation and metalworking in particular for civilizational communication between The past and the present, drawing inspiration from the heritage and getting out of it from the general problems and extending it towards modernization in order to benefit from it with a contemporary vision keeping pace with the era, The current research also follows (the historical approach, the analytical descriptive approach, and the experimental approach) in order to verify the validity of the research hypotheses and to achieve the research objectives.

Therefore, the current research seeks to extract the aesthetic values and formative dimensions in a selection of Fatimid metal antiques (ornaments, clothing accessories, and adornment), based on the inspiration of aesthetic solutions related to them in terms of their construction systems, technical characteristics, and industrial methods, and an attempt to merge each of those values and take them as an entrance to develop capacity monetary and art appreciation, as well as innovative experimental approaches to create contemporary metalwork and to develop The critical and appreciative ability of students in the field of formative arts in specialized art colleges.
