The research is titled The expressive values of tattoos as a source for the development of artistic artifacts
The art of tattooing has ideological, philosophical, social and aesthetic connotations to decorate the body and is drawn by needles and powders, so it remains on the human body for life and spreads in the countryside. Green color on the lips to the bottom, and for Moroccan women, drawings and motifs occupy all parts of the body. Tattoos for Arab women are an alternative to jewelry, necklaces, bracelets, and bayonets. For men, tattoos mean courage and originality. Some tattoo symbols were used and highlighted within the natural skin, and skin techniques were used to highlight the expressive values of tattoos.
The research aims to create artistic works inspired by the expressive values of tattoos
The research assumes that it is possible to create artistic preoccupations by drawing inspiration from the expressive values of tattoos, and tattoo motifs can be an entry point for formulating innovative plastic visions with the texture of the skin. The importance of the research lies in the fact that the research contributes to the multiplicity of visions through tattoo motifs.
In order to enrich the artifacts, the natural leather material is treated with formation with its distinctive techniques by highlighting the tattoo motifs inside the artifact, which gives tactile effects and plastic rhythms within the artifact.

- Touch the essence of expression for tattoo motifs
- Producing artistic handicrafts from tattoo motifs, which led to a richer field of artistic works.
- Tattoo Decorations produced artistic artifacts with innovative plastic visions using leather material.
The research contributed to the multiplicity of visions through tattoo motifs.
- Enriching the artifacts that are dealt with in the field of molding with natural leather through tattoo motifs.
