Abstract

Recently, the world has witnessed technological development on a large scale in various fields, and digital printing is an important technology for the future of textile printing because it provides the possibility of printing countless colors, the ability to print new and innovative designs of high quality in a short time and a quick response to a change in colors or Design, but it lacks the originality and uniqueness that characterizes hand printing techniques, hence the idea of research in reviving the technique of Tie Dye through computer programs and printing it with modern methods of digital printing to keep pace with the contemporary technological development in textile printing, due to the possibility of printing this technique on various textile materials and not being limited to Only natural materials.

The television image is a media with high viewing rates and an unparalleled public turnout, in addition to its strong psychological impact on the audience and the possibility of changing the audience's habits and behaviors. The youth programs were chosen to implement the research objectives to be compatible with the designs printed on the textiles with knot and tie technique, which the researcher supposes that they give artistic and aesthetic capabilities in terms of overlapping colors and textures, as they work to enrich the plastic values of the television image of youth programs and support them for the content presented in these programs.

The research was based on two main axes, namely the first axis (theoretical framework), which talks about the technique of printing by Tie & Dye and its various implementation methods, as well as how to print it by thermal transfer with the help of Photoshop on various materials, as well as talking about the color chakras and their impact on the plastic values of the television image. As for the second axis (The applied framework of the research) It talked about the employment of innovative designs from the technique of Tie & Dye using the Photoshop program in the decoration of the 8 Al-Sobh program, as well as in the fashion of the announcers and their impact on the plastic values of the television image
