The role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training Schools to achieve Sustainable Development in Egypt.

Abstract

Considering the growing problem of unemployment, especially among young people, technical and vocational education and training has become a fundamental pillar in achieving technological development in societies. Technical directly meets the needs of the labor market by integrating the needs of employers and investors within the educational and training programs and courses, while redrawing the structure of the educational system, considering the sustainable role sought by many of the current jobs in the labor market with the aim of achieving sustainable development goals. Egypt is one of the countries Which seeks to achieve this rapid development in the education and technical training system and link it with private sectors and institutions which have a large productive share in the Egyptian market, These institutions contribute significantly to the development of technical education and training institutions, where they can provide skilled manpower and have an ability to learn new skills, which leads to the development of the labour market, and consider the facility of green technology and its availability in the educational environment and the work environment. The research highlights the clarification of the concept of sustainable technical and vocational education as well as its effective role in Egypt and the most important problems of technical and vocational education in Egypt. sustainable education, by clarifying a case study model that was developed and compared to a newly established school, applying the framework on it, and the clarification of the most important conclusions and recommendations that should be observed during Developing Egyptian technical and vocational education.
