Abstract

Religious symbols have their sanctity, However, religious symbols are sometimes used in advertising design for spiritual, symbolic, or even aesthetic reasons, Which differs according to the type of product, the type of advertisement, the form of the design, as well as the country in which the symbol is used. However, the advertising designer must take into account the sanctity of these symbols, and the extent to which it expresses the religion that it symbolizes, Examining this symbol, whether it actually expresses the purpose intended for it, or is it a formal symbol devoid of its intended meaning that was only passed down through the generations without being expressive of the purpose for which it is used. Also, study whether this symbol is recognized globally, or is it targeting a specific audience. Will it be used in the design as a symbol in itself or for another purpose, And is it used taking into account its sanctity or is it detracted by using it for this purpose in the advertisement. Was the religious symbol used in advertising the same in Arab and Western countries, or was it different, and What are the differences, whether the form or the spiritual or symbolic meaning.

Research problem :

1. Moving away from the Islamic identity by abandoning the founding values of Islamic civilization.

2. Humanity's interests in its heritage are still concerns that are pioneered by the mind and its content is form and symbol.

3. The contents of form and symbol are still perceived isolated from their essential roots.

4. The fundamental roots of the great arts are still stimulate the intellectual perception of art.

5. The essential truth of the really big arts are the sentimental depiction of the truth of the facts.

The importance of research:

Providing the individual and the Muslim community with correct values, ideas and knowledge, Which increases his level of knowledge and culture about his history, arts and religion, that religious symbols are usually used randomly in ad design.

Research objectives:

Arab and Western ads must respect Islamic values, norms and lofty humanitarian principles, avoiding misinformation, cheating and deception, using religious symbols in designing advertising selectively thoughtful.
