Abstract

We live in the age of the image, which is the form, a civilizational heritage. The form according to Fisher is the wonderful thing, which is the fertile soil that achieves the image, which is something between the idea and the form. Each of them has its dominance over a moral space that occupies an abundance of imagination. The form is a fixed phenomenon, which is achieved through the imagination of the visualized. The specifications of realizing this phenomenon cannot be changed, except by invoking the variant and different concepts that establish the construction of new forms. However, the form remains the same. The research problem is identified in the question: Are the challenges imposed on the (image) with the variables around it, or in its contradiction to itself? On the other hand, can the intention of the arts be considered stable, and we can say that applies to the image? That may sometimes be attributed to the conformity with reality, which extends beyond the human perceptions that we reach through the emotional contemplation of the art phenomenon and its challenges?

The importance of the research lies in increasing the philosophy of the image in the art phenomenon and its challenges, analyzing it and drawing conclusions that support the artist’s concept of the image, and then generalizing the findings of the study to benefit from them. The research aims to achieve a better knowledge of the philosophy of the essence of the image and its challenges with the art phenomenon. The temporal limits of the research include the historical tracing of the emergence of the image and its philosophy across civilizations to a time when the image was between permission and prohibition as the present research may allow. The topic limits are the examination of image philosophy and the challenges of art. The research methodology is the historical and analytical approach.
