A new vision for the clothing designs of the characters of the operetta arts as an entrance to the sustainability of heritage

Abstract

The operetta arts are considered one of the most important arts of entertainment because of the concepts it reflects and the entertainment it provides and bring happiness to the souls. Fashion is one of the expression tools for the art of Orbit and is naturally subject to theatrical event and the requirements of drama. Therefore, fashion plays an important role in shaping, no less important than decoration and lighting. It contributes to embodying the factors of time and place, and even the material, social and moral nature of human.

Cultural heritage is essential to the health and identity of societies. Communication with heritage in all its forms has a positive impact on the quality of life. Therefore, the sustainable development of heritage aims to promote well-being and creative and economic development. Fashion design is an artistic creation that enriches and inspires the present through its new and innovative vision of history. And the Egyptian folklore. Folklore provides a model for creativity and practice, which are the most deeply related to sustainable development patterns. As one of the most important means of preserving Egyptian civilization and heritage is documenting it, so the research dealt with a new vision for fashion designs and features of six characters for the brides of Oberto the big night. To achieve the sustainable development of heritage, the designs were built on three axes: the first axis, “Achieving designs for sustainable development,” the second axis, “the designs fit with the folklore”, the third axis “the designs fit with the dramatic context of the artistic work.” Questionnaires for arbitrators’ opinion polls on the achievement of the designs’ axes, and the success of the axes was concluded, and thus the purpose of the research was achieved, which is a new vision of clothing designs for the characters of the operetta arts as an entrance to the sustainability of heritage. . The results of the research included the following: Designing costume designs for the characters of the Great Night play and their inspiration from the Egyptian folk motifs that achieve sustainable development of the heritage.
