Abstract

The research tends to the analytical study of the modern dynamic architecture patterns represented in the works of the architect Santiago Calatrava as a source of inspiration for the designs of women's print fabrics and their application using blue printing (Blue Printing).

Despite of the diversity of sources from which printed designs can be inspired, nature is the rich source of ideas that are suitable for inspiration in many arts such as architecture. Nature was a primary source of inspiration for many areas explicitly, like (biomorphosis).

or the integration of elements present in nature as a source of inspiration in design, as the simulation of nature sought to demonstrate the essential role of nature to solve problems associated with contemporary reality in creating an integrated architecture called biomimetic science, or biomimetic architecture, which is also a direction Similar to organic architecture who are concerned with the study of vital systems and processes in nature and how they are formulated into an architectural work through bio-design, not by imitating natural forms, but by understanding the rules and metrics that govern those forms.

On the other hand, manual printing is considered one of the practical applied arts that is characterized by unlimited richness in multiple printing techniques and methods. Which results in many plastic, aesthetic, tactile and linear values, different raw materials, tools and different performance methods, and its applicability to different surfaces. That makes manual printing one of the best experimental fields that allow practicing many artistic treatments, from which an infinite number of designs with privacy, distinction, uniqueness and diversity can be obtained. It is another non-traditional printing methods that many researchers have not dealt with, Blue printing is an uncommon technique in the field of hand textile printing.

Blue printing needs some chemicals consisting of iron salts, those materials used in photography and photographic printing.
