Possibilities of digital sculpture for art education students in light of the requirements of sustainable development

This research aims to Providing art education students with some of the capabilities of digital sculpture in the light of the requirements of sustainable development. Introducing a new approach to teaching sculpture based on digital sculpture to achieve modernization and contemporaneity in the work of art education students. and to show the importance of the relationship between the art of sculpture and the requirements of sustainable development. In addition, the attempt of students to use and practice digital technology may contribute to achieving sustainable development for them. To achieve this, the researcher followed both the analytical descriptive approach and the experimental approach through a sample of (18) male and female students in the fourth year, Faculty of Art Education, Minia University, The research concluded in its results that the capabilities of digital sculpture helped students achieve visual and rapid imagination of their ideas, and art education students acquired some of the capabilities of the ZBrush program in a relatively short time. Work and achieve the requirements of sustainable development. Sculpture courses in technical colleges can be developed by teaching digital sculpting skills

In some of its results, the research recommended considering art education curricula to be in line with the data of the times and the minds of students who are accustomed to using technology and linking it to the labor market. For students with the latest technologies related to the specialization, and taking into account the achievement of the goals of the faculties of art education related to sustainable development by graduating productive human cadres equipped to serve the community and work on developing it, And work to develop the infrastructure and technological equipment in the faculties of art education to make a leap in the performance of higher education institutions, and provide scholarships for faculty members to train on these modern techniques, and train graduates of the Faculty of Art Education on the latest technologies that have an impact on the development of the field of sculpture.
