Abstract

Folklore is one of the most important means used to reveal the customs of peoples, which is the result of the culture of generations through a heritage of value and national identity. It remains the expression of the popular identity of each region, adhering to this heritage and integrating it with contemporary fashion to give its values to everything. It is a new and contemporary fashion that has become a popular heritage. The Fabrics is especially important in the field of fashion design in general and the beauty of the design on the manicans in particular, because if the choice of fabric is carefully selected to help highlight the beauty of design, the problem is that the design of the clothing depends on the use of the fabric as an assistant to highlight the lines of design and add aesthetic touch to the design rarely used The trimming is essential in the design of a piece of clothing where it can combine more than one type to produce the design in an aesthetic form enriches the piece designed and made designs inspired by folklore decorations in Al-Baha to produce the trimming of rich design, from this point of view Several questions were raised: - What types of folklore decorations are used in Al-Baha area? What is the possibility of creating designs for the trimming derived from folklore in Al-Baha? What is the possibility of combining the decorations of the folklore in AL-Baha with design on manicans style? The research aims to study the folklore decorations in Al-Baha area and to create designs of national identity figures in the style of design on the manicans. They can be produced and applied to the general taste in accordance with the vision of 2030 and revive the popular identity of Al-Baha Region through the proposed designs. The national through the designs of the trimming inspired by the popular art of Al-Baha and opened the way for students and researchers in the field of fashion design to address new experimental entrances in innovation and creativity.
