Abstract

Digital printing, with its modern concept and capabilities, has brought about a real revolution in the security printing industry. Indeed, such systems have developed, and their security capabilities have increased. Rather, the matter has gone beyond the mere contribution of digital printing systems to some of the production of secured publications to the degree of complete digital production of publications on digital systems, as it has become the Achievement of small-copy printing operations with ease, speed, and economy. It was also possible to print when needed only, using variable information from one edition to another, with the possibility of personalized printing guided by high-accuracy security techniques and capabilities for documents and publications of value.

As a result of the ease of counterfeiting and falsifying government documents and publications and selling them on the black market despite being secured by many security features, which negatively affects the individual, society, and national income, it was necessary to employ, use and apply a set of standard capabilities and technologies (insurance, economic, productivity, and innovation) available on printing machines Digital, which, by the way, is being developed and added every day, to serve the security printing system and the production of valuable documents and publications.

The security printing industry is struggling with the latest ideas filled with increased security features such as biometrics, and personal and digital fingerprints printed with security inks.

The research aims to include some security elements printed by digital printing machines, such as secure QR codes that contain fingerprints or personal images printed with secured inks, some of which are provided by the Information Technology Department with the Track and Trace feature, and some of these elements are specified by a number of readings, which makes them inoperable For counterfeiting or forgery, and in the event that the number of readings specified in the smartphone application is exceeded, a warning message is given about the document’s unreliability and the geographical location of the repeated reading in order to take the necessary measures from the competent authorities, especially with increasing public awareness of the citizen of the need to use specific smart phone applications available on smart phones to ensure the reliability and authenticity Government documents and publications through campaigns to raise awareness of the personal and public benefits of using such applications.
