Abstract

Man began to learn to draw thousands of years ago, before he knew how to read and write on the walls of caves and on the slopes of the surrounding mountains, and it remained throughout the ages to be a witness to its development, passing through the era of the Pharaohs, “the golden age of mural art,” as Egypt has a rich history of heritage, arts, and ancient civilization. Which is unparalleled anywhere else on the face of the earth in general, and the art of mural photography in particular, as plastic paintings are considered one of the oldest means of artistic expression since the very beginnings of art, and with the development of historical eras, we find that they have kept pace with this development, as their forms have multiplied and their functions have diversified, including the values they contain. Contents far from the familiar traditional framework based on recording visual reality in a way characterized by realism, and the field of drawing and mural photography is characterized by being a complete means of communication that extends between the artist and the recipient, as it carries unlimited meanings of formulas, symbols, and lines, even if the form is abstract, as it is a plastic language that must appear in a singular form.
