Employing Augmented Reality Technology in Curriculum Design

Abstract

Augmented reality technology helps to provide interactive designs for curriculums where design elements such as colors, three-dimensional shapes, and animated shapes are used to create an interactive learning experience to attract students and enhance their participation and interaction with the curriculums. The interactive design of the textbook adds a key element in enhancing students ' creative thinking helps them develop skills and adds creativity to their creativity. Augmented reality also helps to mix technology with design to help the use of augmented reality technology in the design of interactive curriculums that contribute to the development of students ' skills at the preparatory stage.

This research discovers the extent of difficulties and problems that can be encountered when using augmented reality technology in the design of curriculums, the method of solving them, and analyzing the most important applications specialized in the use of augmented reality. The applied experiment will be designed in the science subject for the second preparatory grade, in the first chapter: the second module "Atmosphere and protection of the planet Earth" on Page (45) of the textbook. This hands-on experience focuses on studying the layers in the atmosphere and the features of each layer, and the interactive part aims to provide an interactive learning experience for students to achieve a deeper understanding of the components and characteristics of the atmosphere. The research showed results confirming the importance of using augmented reality technology in improving the design of school curriculums. These results will also contribute to promoting the use of augmented reality technology in the design of curricula and the development of curriculums that improve the quality of learning and enhance students ' skills.

One of the most prominent results of the research is that augmented reality technology has a great ability to create interaction between students and the course, and augmented reality promotes creative activity among students and helps continuous development in the field of designing interactive curriculums, which leads to the need to provide interactive educational experiences based on this technology to achieve learning goals and work to improve the quality of learning within the curriculums.
