Folk art is an art that is inherent to, parallel to, and linked to the arts of civilizations. This art continued to preserve its traditions, as it formed a personality dominated by the manifestations of the Islamic and Arab character.

The belief has been prevalent for a long time that folk arts are not arts worthy of consideration and that they do not amount to creative works of art, especially since folk arts are practiced and created by simple people who are limited in the shadows.
