Abstract

Color is one of the most important elements used in architectural space, which gives a different and distinctive character to each space from the other. Through color, we can add a kind of mental or physical activity to the users of the space depending on its purpose, especially when designing for young age groups (children). Color has physiological and psychological effects on children who use architectural space, and through it it can modify or evaluate the human activity of that group, if it is used correctly and in the appropriate space for them. The energy of color, especially the primary colors, cannot be ignored when designing architectural spaces for children. Rather, the primary colors play a role. The materials used in it play a major role in stimulating or inhibiting the activity they are required to perform in this space, especially since the energy of color is the main driver of these effects on children who use the architectural space.
