Abstract

The issue of the environment and climate change is one of the most important current issues preoccupying the world. Climate change is one of the challenges that has begun to threaten the future of humans at the beginning of the current century, leading to great consequences. We must be careful and correct our course. The idea of constructing the building and its internal contents is one of the most important causes of the problem. Therefore, it is necessary for us to identify the most prominent environmental design and architectural treatments, and their varying impact and positive outcomes at the environmental level.

The research addresses this important issue that preserves the environment and concerns people and their health, as the environment has become severely suffering from pollution and the emission of toxic gases and fumes that seriously harm human health and living organisms as a result of the difficulty of disposing of consumable materials and waste because most of them are plastic, glass, metal and agricultural materials that take It takes a long time to decompose, in addition to suffering from the problem of preserving forests and trees, as many of them were eliminated as a result of their cutting to obtain wood or paper for use in various fields. For example, but not limited to, agricultural activities are responsible for a third of the climate changes to which the Earth is exposed, as 25% of the gases emitted as a result of agricultural activity cause global warming, such as gases emitted from rice fields and from the incorrect use of agricultural waste by burning. For example, the problem is further complicated by increasing carbon oxide concentrations.

Agricultural remains represent a great wealth if we realize their importance and ways to benefit from them, but due to the lack of awareness of the means through which these plant wastes can be transformed into useful things and the establishment of small industries on these wastes, we mention among these agricultural remains ((banana leaves - palm leaves - Rice straw...and others) are reused as raw materials in the wood industry and in the production of sustainable building materials as an alternative to traditional building materials.
