Plastic arts, particularly Arabic calligraphy,playa significant role in establishing the identity of fourth-year students at the Faculty of Information - Suez University. Arabic calligraphy is a unique and authentic visual language that represents Arab culture and identity, combining visual beauty and artistic expression. Through creating artistic paintings, students enhance their cultural awareness and belonging to Arab and Egyptian identity, while also expressing the prominent features and symbols of Suez's intellectual heritage. Arabic calligraphy holds great importance in solidifying Arab identity due to its rich Islamic history and presence in mosques, palaces, and museums

Research Problem:The research problem is defined by the following question: What is the proposed program in the visual arts to establish identity among students at Suez University?

Research Objective: To design a proposed program in the visual arts to establish identity among students at Suez University, based on Arabic calligraphy.

Research Methodology: The research follows a descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing the concepts of identity and Arabic calligraphy, analyzing the works of artists who were inspired by it, as well as a quasi-experimental approach in the students' works as groups.

Research Hypothesis: The proposed program in the visual arts to establish identity among students at Suez University has a positive impact on identity establishment

1- Designing a questionnaire to assess the validity of the criteria for evaluating the artistic output of the proposed program in identity establishment through Arabic calligraphy among students at the Faculty of Information - Suez University (research sample), prepared by the researcher.2- Designing criteria for evaluating the artistic output of fourth-year students at the Faculty of Information - Suez University (research), prepared by the researcher.
