Abstract

The research explores the use of graphic design in creating a three-dimensional (3D) Saudi character for electronic games. The study uses a qualitative approach, focusing on Arab personalities present in various electronic games. A qualitative data analysis card was prepared, which included four main axes: personality profile, physiology, clothes and tools, and personality traits. A 3D character carrying the culture and facial features of Arabs from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was designed using 3D design programs. The research found that the number of characters designed and approved in electronic games as a Saudi character is very few, with only two being approved. The five most known Arab characters in electronic games are Anna-Shaheen, Al-Tayer Ibn-La'Ahad, Rashid, and Farah Ahmed. The research also found that graphic design can be employed to create Arab characters from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in electronic games using multiple technologies such as 3D modeling and digital drawing. This allows for the transformation of characters into distinctive and unique characters with a strong and attractive personality.
